Some things are worth remembering. Kept is a private vault for the things you try. Snap a photo, give it a rating and a note, and find it again months later — the wine you loved, the paint colour that was right, the dish worth ordering again, the plant that actually survived. EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR PHONE • No account. No sign-up. No password to forget. • No cloud sync, no ads, no tracking, no analytics. • Your photos and notes never leave your device. SIMPLE BY DESIGN • Snap: take a photo, rate it, add a note in seconds • Vault: everything you've kept, searchable when you need it • Add a place to a memory if it matters — only when you ask for it WHY IT EXISTS Photos alone don't remember why something mattered. A rating and a line of context turn a picture into something you can actually use later. Available in English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian. ## Key features - Private photo vault - Rating and note system - On-device storage - No account or sign-up required - Searchable memory archive - Optional location tagging ## Is Kept safe? And being able to take a picture of the same object and know what was the rating of it is brillant. Good job! ## Frequently asked questions about Kept ### What is Kept used for? Tap it to open that memory. • No more stuck keyboard: it closes when you tap outside or scroll. • Notes now go up to 300 characters, so they stay easy to read. ### 1.2.1 — 2026-09-20 The translations have been reworked from scratch in French, German, Spanish and Italian — by people who speak them, not by a machine. The App Store page is now in your language too. Kept also greets you with a short note after an update, so you can see what changed without leaving the app. ### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-16 Kept now suggests what you are looking at. Take a photo and the name and category are filled in for you, worked out on your iPhone. Nothing leaves your phone, and anything you type wins. It also recognises things you have kept before. Photograph something a second time and Kept shows you what you thought of it last time. A new look. Choose Darkroom or Cream in your profile: warm black and amber, or cream and clay. The camera grew up. Full resolution photos, pinch to zoom across every lens, a flash control, tap to focus, and close-ups stay sharp because the camera moves to the macro lens by itself. The volume keys and the camera button take the shot too, and "snap something in Kept" works with Siri and the Action Button. Kept now runs on iPad, in any orientation. Your profile saves as you go, and the photo you choose is finally kept for good. ### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-15 Finding a place now just works. Type a bar, café or shop and Kept finds it with Apple Maps, ranked by how close it is to you. Your Vault is now your profile: your photo, name and stats sit right above everything you have kept. Also: the rating and edit sheets now rise above the keyboard so nothing is hidden, the keyboard starts capitalised in name and note fields, and a spurious camera error after taking a photo is gone. ## Apps similar to Kept | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Add Subtitles to Video・RushCap](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/add-subtitles-to-videorushcap/id1606614631) | 2.8 (12) | Free | Photo & Video | | [Color Flash Camera](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/color-flash-camera/id6448271714) | 1.8 (4) | Free | Photo & Video | | [Merge Videos - Compilation](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/merge-videos-compilation/id1278169874) | 4.1 (1,729) | Free | Photo & Video | | [Teleprompter for Video ۬](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/teleprompter-for-video/id6452011408) | 4.6 (93) | Free | Photo & Video | | [Video Editor ‧](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/video-editor/id1049220609) | 4.4 (32,917) | Free | Photo & Video | | [Dr. Headshot: Corporate Photos](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/dr-headshot-corporate-photos/id6504539543) | 4.9 (172) | Free | Photo & Video | --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
