Kept is a warranty tracker with no account, no ads, no subscription and no data collection. Snap the receipt, note the serial, set the coverage. Kept warns you 30 days and 7 days before a warranty ends, so the repair is free because you could find the proof. WHAT IT DOES • Log a purchase in about twenty seconds including receipt photos, serial number, price, store • Quiet warnings before coverage ends (you choose: 90, 30, or 7 days out) • Serial numbers detected from your receipt photo, entirely on your device • An "expiring soon" widget for your Home Screen • One-tap serial copy when you're on the phone with support • Export everything as a file anytime, your records are yours WHAT IT DOESN'T DO • No account. Receipts bought on the same day now stay in a stable order. They were being sorted by a time of day the app stored but never showed you, so two receipts from one day could appear either way round. Shop names on the receipt list get their space back. Longer names were being cut short much earlier than they needed to be. ### 1.5 — 2026-08-18 A receipt can now come from a link. Paste the address of a PDF or an image, tap fetch, and Kept files it against the receipt and remembers where it came from. Useful if your documents already live on a server of your own. Two receipts bought on the same day now keep a steady order instead of swapping around. ### 1.4 — 2026-08-16 Most of this came from people who wrote in. PDFs are receipts too. Attach one from Files, and if it runs to several pages you choose which ones to keep. An invoice usually has one sheet that matters, and it is rarely page one. Every receipt now shows the date you bought it, next to the store. The year appears only when it is not the current one. Your own categories can be renamed or removed, and you can change their icons. Deleting a category never deletes receipts, they just go back to their built-in category. The iCloud setting explains itself. It tells you when you are not signed in, and that it needs turning on for each device you want a copy on.
