## What is KeptWell Care?

KeptWell is a private medical hub for families navigating serious illness or caring for an aging parent. Upload the documents and recordings you're collecting. KeptWell reads them, organizes them into plain English, and keeps the people who care in sync.

When someone you love is going through a serious illness, you end up with a binder. Or a folder. Or a string of texts and screenshots. Lab results you don't fully understand. Visit notes you forgot to take. Three medications that keep getting changed. KeptWell takes that pile and turns it into something you can actually use.

What KeptWell does
- Upload anything. PDFs, photos of paperwork, scans, audio recordings of appointments. KeptWell reads them.
- Plain-English summaries. Every document gets a title, a one-paragraph summary, and the findings that actually matter — written like a nurse explaining things, not like a hospital portal.
- Health hub. Labs, medications, allergies, diagnoses, procedures, and vitals are pulled out of your documents automatically. Every entry links back to its source so you can see exactly where a number came from.
- Chat with full context. Ask "What changed with Mom's blood pressure meds last month?" or "Were there any concerning labs in the August panel?" KeptWell answers in clear language with citations back to your records and trusted medical references.
- Voice recordings. Capture a visit. Get a searchable transcript and a summary you can scan in thirty seconds.
- Care circles. Each patient sits at the center of a circle. Family members join, see what's happening, and stay aligned. Switch between circles if you're helping more than one person.
- Journal and calendar. Quick notes between visits. Appointment prep with the questions you wanted to ask.
- Sharing. Post updates to your circle, react and comment, keep the family informed without a forty-message group text.

Privacy

Your medical information stays inside your circle. We never sell data. We never train AI on your records. KeptWell uses HIPAA-grade infrastructure — encrypted in transit and at rest, with signed business associate agreements covering the AI providers we use.

### 1.15.0 — 2026-08-26

- You can now send a photo in chat — take one with your camera or pick one from your library. KeptWell looks at it while it answers, and keeps it with the conversation. Photos you send are yours alone: no one else in your circle can see them, and they stay out of the documents list. If you share a conversation, the photos come along.
- KeptWell now knows what time it is when you ask, so "this morning" or "last night" lands where you mean it.
- Chat no longer pulls you to the bottom while an answer is still coming in. You can scroll back and read while it writes.
- Cards asking you to confirm something KeptWell noted no longer reappear after you've answered them. What you dismissed stays dismissed, and what you removed shows as removed.
- You can turn off getting-started and check-in emails under notification settings.

### 1.13.0 — 2026-08-23

- Mark a medication as no longer taken, right from its page. It moves out of the current list and stays in the history.
- Notifications now clear when you open what they point to, so the badge matches what you've actually read.
- Profile photos load again for everyone in your circle.
- When KeptWell looks something up online, it now says "Checking trusted medical sources" so you can tell it apart from reading your own records.
- Fixed the document page sliding sideways when you scrolled it.

### 1.12.0 — 2026-08-20

- A circle can now be for you. When you set one up, choose "Myself" instead of "Someone I care for" — KeptWell then speaks to you directly throughout: "Your health" on Home, "Add to your record", and lab explanations written for you rather than about you.
- Add a date of birth and sex assigned at birth when you create a circle, and KeptWell will tell you when routine screenings come due — flu shots, bloodwork, mammograms, colonoscopies.
- Journal prompts now match who the circle is for — "How are you feeling today?" in your own circle, "How is Mom feeling today?" when you're caring for someone.
- Fixed the "This is the patient" option disappearing from an invite before anyone had actually claimed the patient seat.

### 1.11.0 — 2026-07-29

- You can now start another care circle from inside the app — tap the patient's name on Home to switch between circles or add a new one, or use the + on your circles list.

### 1.10.0 — 2026-07-26

- Tell KeptWell something once and it sticks — correct a name we misheard, say who's treating you now, or mention how your appointments usually work. It carries into later conversations and into how new documents get read.
- Anything about a medication or a diagnosis waits for you to confirm it before it takes effect, and you choose whether the rest of your circle sees it.
- "What I've noted" on the chat screen shows everything KeptWell has taken down, who said it, and when — edit or remove any of it.
