## What is Kerf?

Kerf is the board foot calculator you keep in your pocket at the lumber rack. Punch in width, thickness, and length, and it turns them into a lumber cost quote for the whole cart before you commit.

Built as a carpentry calculator for real shop work, not a spreadsheet.

- Board foot math with 4/4 notation and fractions down to a thirty-second of an inch
- A running haul total with waste, tax, and kerf figured in
- Group many boards into one named job or cut list
- Flip between board feet and metric in a tap
- Send a job out as text, CSV, or PDF
