It takes some time, and some patience to beat this game.. so you would think as a reward you would be able to select levels for replay value once you've beaten it. you know, with all the weapons and power you've earned. not the case. the saving structure is not clear cut, so you end up only being able to replay the last level or the an entirely new game back at zero. PLEASE UPDATE with option to start new game with all upgrades. ### 2/5 — Should Be Cheaper *2016-01-07* I never been a big fan of way of the people make games with horrible graphics. Ten or twenty years ago I know games didn't look as good as they can now. But that was how it had to be. Now it's just people who want to make games and use poor looking graphics. Graphics aren't everything and that's only part of the rating. I expected more. More story, more personality. Something to make this game more than a retro shooter. I knew what the game looked like before buying but by the ratings I expected something more exciting. If the game was cheaper it would get a higher rating. It's not that all retro or games with poor graphics get poor ratings from me. Minecraft with its dated look would be worth the price and high rating. Why? Because your imagination can run wild and you can create all kinds of things. This game has the dated look down, but doesn't offer enough at the price it charges. ### 3/5 — テンポの悪いゲーム *2020-06-06* セーブ地点が少な過ぎて、一度残機を全て失うとステージの頭からやり直させられます(道中倒したボスは消滅したままですが…)。 また再プレイする度に、一々コンテニューするかどうか聞かれ、選択させられるのもテンポを悪くしています。 更に即死も多く、初期残機も多いとは言えず、アクションゲームが苦手な方だとストレスがかなり溜まるものと思われます。 このようなゲームは死に覚えて、攻略パターンを確立して進めていくものだと思うのですが、兎に角テンポが悪く、プレイがだれてしまいます。特に最終面の長丁場のボスでやられると一々最初からやり直させられるのは純粋に苦痛です。 難易度としてはやや高めな部類に入るのではないかと思います。ストーリーも淡白で、ドットのスマホでもプレイできるアクションゲームの範疇に収まるものかと思います。洞窟物語のような名作を期待してはいけません。 ### 3/5 — Great game but why ios 7.1 only ? *2014-06-11, version 1.0.7* Bought this game and really enjoy it but it was a right pain/hassle having to amend the IPA file to make it ios7 compatible. I'm not on ios7.1 and dont want to update to that. I buy a lot of games and this game is the ONLY one which demands 7.1. Its not like it uses the latest features of 7.1 or anything. Just a pain having to adjust the file. Would like to buy their new game but again its 7.1 only, emailed the dev but nothing back. But other side scrolling platformers are just as fun for $1-$2. I won't name them but it doesn't take much looking. What I don't like is the "swipe to shoot" control scheme. It's awkward and slow, and you just end up running in full auto because it's easier. It would have been far better with simply a shoot button, joystick controller, jump button, and maybe limited ammo. It's kind of boring just running through blasting everything in full auto. Whatever it is what it is, but I would NOT have bought this for $5 had I got to play it before. $2, maybe... $1, yes. ### 4/5 — Sweet *2016-04-14* For five stars please sort the controls out, they add difficulty that need not exist as the game is challenge enough. Please keep this game updated!!! ### 5/5 — 最高！楽しい！可愛い！買って損無し！ *2021-07-16* ノーマルモードと残業モード（ハードモード）までクリアしました。ストーリーも雰囲気も良いし楽しいです。キャラクターも可愛すぎます。 switch版でもプレイしましたが、スマホのタッチパネルを使ったボタン操作が新鮮で楽しめます。 ### 5/5 — シンプルな操作感と程よい難易度 *2021-04-21* 難易度 あまりスマホを触らない人でも直感で操作出来そうなくらい見やすいUIがある。　そのため誰にでもオススメできる(プレイできる)と思う。 ストーリー ストーリー面ではかなり淡々としている。　純粋なアクションゲーに近い。 ステージ プレイ時間的には2時間半くらい(個人差あり)だけどステージごとの味があって飽きなかった。 操作感 ケロブラスターの操作感はスマホゲーに対応した形で洗練されていて良かった。　普段ソシャゲをしないため、スマホという小さい画面でありながらも操作ボタンはしっかり反応してくれて細かい動作も結構簡単にいけることに驚いた。 所感 洞窟物語を最近クリアしたというのもあり随所からその味が感じられるのが嬉しい。　ケロブラスターもそうだがこういった銃を撃ちまくって進むタイプのゲームは爽快感があって好き。 ### 5/5 — Cave story fan *2020-10-28, version 1.5.0* I was a big fan of cave story when it came out. I think the graphics have a really particular charm. Pixel made the graphics and music so I think there’s a real virtuoso tie to everything together.
