## What is KET训练营?

全称“Key English Test”，是剑桥大学外语考试部（ESOL: English for Speakers of Other Languages）设计的“剑桥通用五级考试”中的一种，在欧洲现代语言教学大纲中对应A2等级，英国国家资格证书框架等级对应Entry2 。该系列考试是一项水平考试，旨在全面测试考生的听、说、读、写四个方面的英语能力水平。对成绩及格者提供由英国剑桥大学地方考试委员会颁发的标准统一的成绩证书。
剑桥大学考试委员会称之为主体系列考试MSE（Main Suite Examinations）是英国剑桥大学考试委员会根据欧洲委员会制定的语言教学大纲设计的英语作为外国语的普通英语技能五级系列考试。教育部考试中心和英国剑桥大学考试委员会合作，于1996年引进英语入门考试（Key English Test）和初级英语考试（Preliminary English Test），于1999年引进第一英语证书考试（First Certificate in English）。这三项考试分别是五级证书考试中的第一、第二和第三级。该系列考试是一种对考生的英语听、说、读、写能力进行考察的水平考试。对成绩及格者提供由英国剑桥大学考试委员会颁发的成绩合格证书。该证书由于其考试的科学性、稳定性、权威性，在世界各国获得承认，被用于入学、就业等各种用途。截止2013年，英国剑桥大学考试委员会在全世界135个国家设有考点，每年参加MSE考试的人数达三十多万。
