The animated sky now draws distinct cloud artwork for different conditions — fair-weather clouds on clear and cloudy days, heavier rain clouds when it's wet, and a soft fog bank when it's misty — so the scene reads true to the weather at a glance.

- New Rain Outlook card: see the next 12 hours at a glance — a peak rain-chance ring, a plain-language summary ("Showers likely", "Mostly dry"), and a bar for each hour. Tap it for an hour-by-hour breakdown with the rainfall (in mm) and a timeline of when rain starts, peaks and clears. Times shown in 24-hour format.
- A more alive sky: clouds now drift continuously across the scene, with a faint layer kept even on clear days.
- More natural-looking rain, and a starry sky on clear nights.
- Lightning now flashes during thunderstorms, with smoother performance.
- Calmer, easier-on-the-eyes colours on the Fishing Forecast.

Fishing Forecast now factors in solunar bite windows — the major (moon overhead/underfoot) and minor (moonrise/moonset) feeding periods — alongside tide, wind and pressure. A moon period landing on dawn or dusk is flagged as a Prime Window.
- See today's major/minor bite windows and moon illumination right in the Fishing Forecast details.
- New wind compass on the Fishing Forecast card and detail view. The red dot marks where the wind is blowing *from* and the arrow shows where it's heading, with the speed and compass bearing (e.g. "From W · 22 km/h") — so you can pick a sheltered, leeward spot at a glance.
- All solunar times are computed on-device, so the bite windows work fully offline.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-05-21

A new sky this update. Hand-painted sun and moon with a soft, warm glow, and richer cloud scenes — each condition now has its own layered arrangement. Storms, rain and snow read more clearly with the sun or moon gently dimmed behind them.
