### 5/5 — Works Great

*2019-03-08, version 1.0.4*

Been using this app for a few months to track my blood ketones and glucose for weight loss and autophagy. Very useful and easy to use

### 5/5 — Exactly what I was looking for!

*2019-03-05, version 1.0.4*

I’m using Keto Mojo to measure my glucose and ketos and was looking for a way to record my results. KetoLogger works great. I like the graph and simplicity of entering the data. Maybe in the future adding some sort of comparative analysis or normative charts would make it even better! Bravo Zulu!

### 5/5 — Does the basics very well

*2019-01-28, version 1.0.4*

Does exactly as advertised. Easy to use. Good app for basic keto diet tracking.

Future requests:
- ability to tag a measurement with post/pre-workout and before/after meal (AC/PC)
- ability to track weight in the same easy way.

### 5/5 — Perfect!

*2018-09-03, version 1.0.3*

This app is just what I was looking for. It’s simply a place to log glucose and ketone results. You can see the results on a graph over time. You can also see the Glucose to Ketone ratio. Thanks for this great app. One enhancement I would suggest is to allow custom tags for the results. I typically test before and after meals. Sometimes also after exercise and after coffee. I would like to be able to compare results across the same tag. Even without this, the app is amazing.

### 5/5 — Exactly what I needed. Thank you

*2018-08-04, version 1.0.3*

I love it when someone builds the perfect thing I need.

### 5/5 — Simple and Easy!

*2018-07-18, version 1.0.3*

I wanted an app that could clearly and quickly show my glucose and Ketone levels. It would be great if Apple health app allows you to enter ketone levels but so far it doesn’t. This is a simple, easy app to use and you shows me quickly exactly what I want to see. I wish there was an input for weight, as I would like to see how weight loss correlates with Ketone levels and blood glucose levels. Also, I entered my data twice for one day and can’t figure out how to delete one if the entries. No swipe left delete which would be a great added feature.

### 5/5 — Good, but needs more

*2018-06-26*

This is a good app for logging ketones and glucose levels, and compute GKI.
Beautifully graphs all data and it is easy to enter the information.
The items which let it down are:
1) does not save data to cloud, which means it does not sync between devices, such as my iPhone and iPad. This is a big missing feature.
2) no IOS Health integration at all.
Address these two issues and you have the killer app for monitoring the level of ketosis in your body.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the kind review.

Apple health integration is still a goal. However full reading import/export is available in the latest version. You can use it to sync manually. It's not automatic but not too difficult. Please see this post on the details:

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2018-06-05, version 1.0.3*

Does just what I need without all the annoying extras. I’ve been using this almost a year. It’s great!

### 5/5 — Love this!

*2018-06-04, version 1.0.3*

Clean, simple, and easy to use! Developer is incredibly responsive and helpful.

### 5/5 — Awesome App

*2018-05-31, version 1.0.2*

Way beyond expectations. Awesome!!!!!

### 5/5 — The best Keto logger on the App Store!!!

*2018-05-31, version 1.0.2*

I wanted something like this for motivation during fasts or just to help me see my progress while doing Keto. I love the graph and how quick and easy it is to input data!!!

### 5/5 — Love!!!

*2018-05-02, version 1.0.2*

This app does exactly what I want it to, and was well worth the price of admission; it’s easy to use and very straightforward. The only feature that it lacks is the ability to connect and write to Apple health, but since there is no metric in Apple heath for ketones, I suppose it would be pointless.

### 5/5 — Used This while fasting. Great help.

*2018-04-19, version 1.0.2*

I’ve been looking for a keto logger for ages and finally found this one. Prior to this I had been using Glucose Buddy and logging ketones as HgA1c but it was a very poor substitute.

I love the fact that when I go to log my results, the current time shows on the tracker.
I also love the Graph showing the ketones and glucose levels at the same time.
And when I pull up “History” and “All”, I get a G:K ratio which helps me to know if I’m getting into therapeutic range.
Well worth the money.

### 5/5 — Exactly what I was looking for

*2018-04-10, version 1.0.2*

This app was exactly what I was looking for to track my ketones and my blood sugar levels. I did not want to track anything else except that. Thank you for this app. Very easy to use and shows the correlation of my keto blood levels to my glucose levels.

### 5/5 — Simple Great App!

*2018-01-27, version 1.0.2*

I make it a rule not to buy apps that do not offer free samples, and this one doesn't. I hesitated for a few days before I hit the "Buy" button, but I'm glad I did.

I had been searching for an app to log blood ketone and glucose levels. I've been on a low carb diet. I wanted to 1) make sure I'm in ketosis, which is my goal of being on a low carb diet, and 2) measure how much impact certain food has on my glucose/ketone levels.

I searched and tried a number of apps (free and freemiums) but none of them were satisfactory. Some require a lot of taps and key strokes. Others are designed for people with diabetes, which I am not, and lacking ability to track ketone levels. Most apps that have "keto-" in their names focus on diet, asking you to enter a whole bunch of information on what you eat. I don't care any of that. I have a ketone/glucose meter so I know if I am in ketosis or not by measuring the blood ketone level, without having to enter all the food data.

This app addresses my needs exactly. As the screenshots show, it has easy "dial" to enter values with time of entry, displays graphs to see the ups and downs. Very easy to use. Minimal taps required.

A few things to be desired in future updates... 1) Connectivity to iOS's Health App. 2) Option to enter food intake (meals & snacks) to track what triggers changes in ketone/glucose levels.

But overall, it's a perfect app. Highly recommended

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Cannot edit once recorded

*2020-08-05, version 1.1.5*

Not sure why this app has such a high rating. This app is way worse and frustrating than the free one I was already using. This app does not allow to edit the entry once a record is saved. That’s a bad design.

Note to developer: if you are going to charge for an app, first please provide the most basic feature for a tool. No editing... that’s laughable for a logging app.

I hope this concern is fixed soon in upcoming updates; then it may deserve a 3 star. UI and controls need a lot of work too. It is messy and clunky AF.

### 3/5 — No apple health

*2019-02-08, version 1.0.4*

Works well enough but doesn’t communicate with apple health which I use for all my health data

### 3/5 — Not bad

*2018-10-03, version 1.0.3*

Pretty basic app. It does not sync across my devices so if I enter data on my iPad, it does not show up on my phone.

### 4/5 — Needs a place to put notes in

*2023-04-22, version 1.1.5*

I like the app but it would help if I could put notes in saying that the reading was after a 24 fast or the reading was an hour after a meal.

### 4/5 — Wonderful App

*2018-09-20, version 1.0.3*

I would give it 5 stars if I could update my data
between my ipad and my iphone
it may be user error
if so please tell me how to join them and I will give it 5 stars!!!
🙃

### 5/5 — Simple and easy to use

*2021-02-13, version 1.1.5*

This is a basic and easy to use app that assist you in tracking glucose and ketone. I wish you could also track weight so you could view how changes effect weight more easily.

### 5/5 — Beautifully Simple Data Tracker

*2020-07-21, version 1.1.5*

I’ve been keto for years now, but recently gotten into intermittent and extended fasting so I decided I wanted to do more comprehensive tracking to see how fasting affects my levels vs. just keto alone. I have pretty much tried every app available that tracks ketones and glucose, and only one even comes close to matching the functionality of KetoLogger. KetoLogger wins hands down because of its ease of use. No clutter from things I don’t need like meal logging/intro to keto articles/social functions. I have other apps for food logging and just wanted something where I could easily see my ketones and glucose in one place, and as a data lover the overlaid graphs is a huge plus. Don’t be afraid to pull the trigger on the price, you’ll get way more out of it than your daily Starbucks coffee. For advanced ketoers, this app is just pure gold.

Also, I contacted the developer about a small issue, and he his response was quick and thorough. He’s got plans for updates, so the app is only going to get better!

### 5/5 — FIXED: Currently does not work with KetoMojo device

*2019-12-01, version 1.1.1*

Exporting from KetoMojo app start KetoLogger app but no results ever appear!

Edited.

Well the developer responded quickly an released a fix. Great support. Worth our support!

### 5/5 — Exactly what I need!

*2019-10-26, version 1.1.1*

This app is great, its exactly what I need. Simple, yet powerful. You can log blood sugar glucose as well as ketones. It automatically gives graphs cor Day/Week/Month. You can export data and print or graph and give to your doctor.

Its pretty much perfect!

### 5/5 — UPDATED Review

*2019-08-21, version 1.1.0*

****UPDATE 8/21****

The developer responded to me quickly and helped me to make changes to my file (which had been corrupted and had some minor errors e.g. capitalizing the header fields). The import worked perfectly...five stars for the app and the quick service. Thanks Rob!

I have tried to edit my .csv to the exact detail required and it will still not import. I have sent a file forward and will re-evaluate my rating and review if/when the developer can fix the app.

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2019-08-15, version 1.1.0*

Love it, meets my needs. And doesn't pilfer my information. Also there are no monthly subscription fees.

### 5/5 — Messwerte

*2019-08-01*

Super App, benutze Sie im Rahmen der Ketogenen Ernährung, bei meinen Schwerbehindertem Kind mit Epilepsie
gleich die richtige Tabelle und graphische Darstellung
Export klappt super, jedenfalls mit dem IPhone
Danke an die Entwickler dieser App

### 5/5 — Tracks GKI

*2019-07-12, version 1.0.4*

Nothing fancy gets the job done, tracks GKI.

### 5/5 — Worth it

*2019-04-20, version 1.0.4*

Experimenting with low carb, keto, and fasting. This app provides a visual representation, and helps me see important relations between
(On the one hand)
—my nutrition (or lack of!) in the last few hours, and
—how I feel

And (on the other)

—my blood sugar, and
—my ketone (alternate fuel/fuel from fat) levels

With this, in time, I hope to have a strong internal sense of these.

So, it’s incredibly important, what this app helps us do. And I’m pleased with how it does it.

One suggestion might be adding the readings for hematocrit and hemoglobin, which these blood tests also provide. Another would be allowing the app to sync with keto mojo, et al, test company apps. . .

And this brings me to another point. I suggested this to the maker of the app. He was incredibly responsive. And said he was already on one of those. My hat is off to him.

I have no relation, financial or otherwise, to the app or it’s maker. But I’ve found it useful. And given that the costs of a blood test or two exceed the cost of this app, I don’t think you can go wrong in using it to track many of these tests. It is the best app I’ve found to do so. And in doing so, it does not require sharing a lot of personal info either

### 5/5 — KetoLogger is meets the need

*2019-03-13, version 1.0.4*

KetoLogger is a pretty simple application, but it gets the job done. It would be nice if an additional graft was added to show the GKI (Glucose-Ketone Index) over the ranges such as:
Anything above 9 means your body has not transitioned into a fat-burning state.
A 6-9 GKI demonstrates a low level of ketosis: This is appropriate for those who want to lose weight or maintain optimal health.
A 3-6 GKI demonstrates moderate levels of ketosis: This is appropriate for addressing many common metabolic diseases including insulin resistance, Type 2 diabetes, or obesity.
A less than 3 GKI is a high level of ketosis: This is typically used for addressing epilepsy and cancers. Entering this high level of ketosis periodically each year can be beneficial for anyone hoping to use ketosis for disease prevention.
