## What is Ketolock?

Ketolock puts net carbs at the center of meal tracking.

LOG THE WAY THAT FITS THE MOMENT
• Photo: take or choose a meal photo to create an editable food and portion estimate.
• Barcode: use published product-label information when available. Barcode lookups do not use your cloud-analysis allowance.
• Describe: type or dictate foods such as “2 eggs, ½ avocado and black coffee,” then review the result before saving.

REVIEW BEFORE YOU LOG
Ketolock separates foods when possible and shows estimated portions, total carbs, fiber, sugar alcohols, protein and fat. Adjust any food, portion or nutrition value to fit your plate or label.

CHECK THE INFORMATION YOU HAVE
When an ingredient list or meal description is available, Ketolock highlights terms and serving details that may deserve a closer look, including added sugars, starches and sugar alcohols. It cannot identify ingredients that are not disclosed and does not measure whether you are in ketosis.

YOUR DAILY NET-CARB VIEW
See logged net carbs against your chosen daily limit, with meal history, hydration, weight, steps and progress views. Apple Health integration is optional.

ON-DEVICE FIRST WHERE SUPPORTED
On supported iPhones, Automatic mode uses on-device intelligence first for the private Describe-a-Meal conversation. When you tap Review & Log, Ketolock sends only your exact meal words to its cloud service to ground the nutrition estimate before you review it. Choose On-device only to keep both meal chat and extraction local; local results are not database-grounded, and cloud photo analysis is unavailable in that mode.

FREE
• 3 completed cloud meal analyses per day across photo and description
• Barcode scanning without using the cloud-analysis allowance
• Core net-carb and macro tracking
• Starter recipes and restaurant entries
• Supported on-device chat questions and On-device-only extraction do not use the cloud allowance

Failed requests, internal retries and chat questions do not use the completed-analysis allowance.

KETOLOCK PRO
• Up to 20 completed cloud meal analyses per day
• Full recipe library and meal plans
• Full restaurant guide
• Fasting tools

Choose monthly or annual billing. Eligible customers may receive a 7-day introductory trial on the annual plan. Prices, renewal terms and eligibility are shown by Apple before purchase.

PRIVACY AND WELLNESS
No Ketolock account is required. Your food log is stored on your device. When you choose cloud analysis, submitted meal text or images are processed by Ketolock’s service and its AI provider to return the result.

Ketolock is a wellness and food-tracking app. Nutrition values are estimates and should be checked against labels, menus or other reliable sources. Ketolock does not diagnose, treat, prevent or monitor a medical condition and does not measure or prove ketosis.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.4 — 2026-10-13

Ketolock now goes by one name everywhere, including your Home Screen. We have also tidied the wording across the app so it is clearer and more consistent.

Fixed an issue that could incorrectly show an unexpected-closure warning when reopening the app.

### 1.2.3 — 2026-09-27

Your scan photo now appears on the review screen, so you can see exactly what was read.

The meal review screen is simpler and easier to read at a glance.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-09-12

• The fasting countdown is back in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen while a fast is running. Prefer it in the Dynamic Island only? Turn off Settings › Face ID & Passcode › Live Activities.
• Groundwork for first-party, aggregate product measurement so we can see where new users get stuck — no analytics SDK, nothing linked to you.
• Stability and reliability improvements.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-09-05

• Fixes first-launch storage initialization on clean installs.
• Restores reliable camera and photo meal scanning on physical devices.
• Prevents duplicate meal saves when adding an analysis to Today.
• Adds a date and meal destination picker when logging saved Favorites or recent foods.
• Shows the scheduled fasting end date and time directly in the active timer.
• Improves barcode camera-permission recovery.
• Strengthens secure cloud sign-in and entitlement recovery.
• Includes performance, accessibility and stability improvements.

### 1.2 — 2026-09-01

• Apple-first meal descriptions: supported iPhones use Apple Intelligence first for chat, while Automatic Review & Log securely grounds only your exact meal words in the cloud.
• Clear daily allowances: Free includes 3 completed cloud meal analyses; Pro includes up to 20. Only successful completed analyses count.
• A clearer Pro screen with live Apple pricing, annual-trial eligibility messaging, a direct Free-versus-Pro comparison and a dated U.S. annual-price snapshot.
• Itemized meal reviews now show editable aggregate fiber, sodium, potassium and magnesium details, with one-tap reset to the original estimates.
• Improved cloud reliability, automatic retry handling and clearer capacity messages.
• Updated meal review, barcode nutrition sources and source labeling.
• Performance, accessibility and launch-recovery improvements.
