Before my GCSEs I did this for a couple hours and it managed to get from a 4 to a 5 I consider that a major W!!!! It feels good to not have to type up all of the definitions into cards to make flash cards like in quizlet. It’s just all there and it saved me from failing my Biology mock on Monday. It’s great how you can mark which ones you get right and wrong to see on a whole how you’re doing in each topic. I’ve bought the maths key cards app and I’m gonna buy the chemistry and physics ones tonight. I also believe this app will improve my grade! My suggestion is if we could make note, highlight or add some keywords, that would be much better and useful for me to revise. These apps are perfect for the specification and cover all aspects in great detail. They are very helpful in recalling pieces of information - which is the most effective way to revise. I first used these for my mocks and carried on using them for my actual GCSE exams. These apps helped me to achieve a grade 99 a GCSE! One tip: Have a shuffle feature so you can see some of your cards from months ago as I have not seen some for a while. Thanks! :) ### 5/5 — AMAZING *2019-06-13* I used this app during my mocks and was able to get myself a grade 8 when I was at a grade 5. It is very useful and I’d highly recommend. I’ve used this one and the chemistry one a lot during my GCSE’s they are excellent! It’s just a shame a physics one hasn’t been released. That would have been really useful for my physics gcse on Friday. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — The definitions are wrong *2022-12-30, version 1.3.0* I am a gcse student heading for nines and I’ve double checked most of the definitions on this app and they are all wrong and a lot of information is missing! Do not rely on this app! ### 2/5 — Issue with flash cards *2019-07-07* Looks good however, once selected the foundation or higher tier and the subject matter, the flash cards that come up on the screen are blank so they cannot be viewed unless they have been selected. There is often a confusion on which card I have selected if there are quite a few. I have also purchased chemistry app and have the same experience. I will change my review if this has been rectified. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. The flashcards are intentionally 'blank' on the screen you're describing to show the status of the cards as clearly as possible. Grey cards have never been attempted, green cards were answered correctly on the last attempt and red cards were answered incorrectly on the last attempt. This is to help you quickly identify the cards you should look at first (the grey/red ones). We've taken your comments on board though, and we're going to review how this screen works to see if we can improve it. They were the only source of revision that I used, and once I’d memorised all cards I flew through the exam and got a 9. If you put the time into learning the cards thoroughly, you’ve got all the content down (which is all you need for GCSEs) ### 5/5 — LITERALLY PERFECT *2024-12-02, version 1.5.1* these flashcards strike the perfect balance between having all the information you need and keeping it relatively simple. Using these helped me achieve a 9 in all my sciences at gcse, and I particularly found the spaced repetition feature useful to keep I am now doing a levels and if anybody would like some flashcard similar to these for a level biology and chemistry, I’ve made some on quizlet (username snowcat56). I tried to stick as closely to the style of these as possible. Hope this app or my flashcards can help someone out there!! ### 5/5 — Absolutely amazing *2024-09-02* I did triple science this year and for my biology I only used this app for revision. The app is easy to use and especially helpful with revising little and often so is effective. I got an 8 but was only 1 mark off a 9 and I was estimated a 7 but got a 6 in my mocks. Honestly if you only do one bit of revision let it be using this app it is so helpful ### 5/5 — so you want a 9 in sciences?…. *2024-08-23* This app is the most amazing thing to ever grace the planet for a gcse student. It WILL save your live and it WILL save your grades. All I ever did to revise was go through these flashcards and do past paper paper questions. That’s it. They are short, concise and to the point and feature everything you need to know. GCSE Results day 2024 was literally yesterday and I received 9s in separate science for bio chem and physics. Was I surprised? Not really 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️cause I knew I had this app and I knew used it well. Even If all the revision you do is just these flashbacks and you actually take the time and effort to genuinely go through them then I swear it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get less than a 7. Thank you to the creator of these apps I owe you one 🙏🙏🙏 ### 5/5 — BEST REVISION APP EVER!! *2024-08-22* I just sat the recent exams series and today was results day. I was very pleased to receive grades 99 ( surpassing the grade requirements by nearly 60 marks) in combined science. I first got the biology app at the start of year 11 for mocks and the simple yet brilliant design allowed me to quickly confirm my strengths and focus on my weaknesses by showing wrongly answered cards on the daily. I quickly downloaded the Chemistry and Physics apps which lead to me achieving grades 99 in my mocks (chemistry at over 90%). I quickly recommended the apps to my friends both of whom received top grades today despite having never before. The app also doesn’t require any mobile data to use so I could do my science flash cards literally any where. However the only improvement I would suggest is the content for scientific working and around required practicals as they can count for quite a large proportion of an exam paper. Which isn’t currently covered in the app. Overall the cost of the apps was 100% worth it and couldn’t recommend enough!! P.s . I am doing both Biology and Chemistry for A level so an A level app would be greatly appreciated 😄. ### 5/5 — This app helped my Biology revison *2024-04-28* I decided to get this app because I was struggling to make flashcards for biology. Make flashcards for every topic and sub topic was too time-consuming, and I was running out of time. Because of this I came across Key Cards. This app has single-handedly saved my science GCSE. This app has every single piece of content that you need in for detail. It really helped me with my exam technique as I memorise every single fresh card. It has all the required practical and equations that you need for the exam. also because I could use it off-line and it had no ads, I was able to use this on the bus and everywhere making my vision more effective. I would really really recommend getting this app and the chemistry and physics one because it’s so good and it has all the things you need in one place. Just keep testing until they stick. ### 5/5 — Bloody fantastic app *2023-09-21* This was my only source of biology study, I didn’t listen in lessons, was never talented in science in any way and was terrified for my GCSEs. I was expected to fail. With about 8 months until my first exam, I began to use these biology Flashcards as well as the physics and chemistry ones that are also made by this developer. I can confidently say that these Flashcards changed my life because I genuinely would have failed and not have been able to continue my education. Because of these Flashcards I got a 9 and an 8 in my biology papers and an 8 overall in science. I am now doing biology as an A-level.
