Emails from key travel alerting me to flight delay tell me to contact my travel agent for help. Errrm - Key Travel are my travel agents (sadly) ### 1/5 — Can’t log in so pointless app *2022-05-05, version 16.1* Unusable even though I have an account as it doesn’t recognise my details ### 1/5 — Useless *2022-03-21, version 16.1* Can’t log in with company account. Baffling that Key Travel can’t sort it out after so many negative reviews saying the same thing. ### 1/5 — App does not open *2020-02-02, version 15.1* App does not open and it’s all blank ### 1/5 — Just deleted the APP *2020-01-17, version 15.1* Doesn’t recognise that I have an account - so I have login with my pc. Useless! ### 1/5 — Terrible *2019-02-16, version 7.0.0* Logging in is a random exercise that mostly ends in failure. Doesn’t seem to sync with bookings made. You will be much better off navigating through the airline apps. ### 1/5 — Useless can’t find my flight details *2025-03-31, version 24.0* We all hate key travel because of the terrible system and extremely high price but everyone in the university is required to book through this. Who knows how much money they make from these for so many years. ### 1/5 — Hopeless *2025-01-21, version 24.0* No booking numbers work so impossible from the start ### 1/5 — Impressively useless *2024-11-05, version 24.0* The app does not connect with its own site. I've entered the trip into the site, and it doesn't appear in mobile app. I engaged the AI assistant. Giving it the trip code means nothing: unrecognised. Added flights manually: the trip recognised in AI but not on the dashboard of application. ### 1/5 — Can’t even log in *2024-10-11, version 23.5* The first screen says “login or register” so I put in my registered email address, but the second screen only offers registration, and I couldn’t login. The whole point of my installing this app was to try to get around the fact that the “e-tickets” provided are PDFs and can’t be added to my phone’s wallet. I had hoped that this app would connect to the wallet. But apparently even accessing my account is too much to ask. ### 1/5 — Dire and bug ridden *2024-08-12, version 23.5* Don’t bother ### 1/5 — AI Chatbot Gone Awry *2023-10-14* The app is utterly useless. The only interface is through a chatbot that can't even book a train. **Developer response:** Hello user, Thanks for your feedback. As the app is a digital travel assistant, it focuses mainly on providing real-time updates and many more bookable services. You could also book by using the links provided in the chatbot which navigates to Keytravel website. ### 1/5 — Does this app have any functionality at all? *2023-04-28, version 23* I am confused. I downloaded this app as I thought it would be a one-stop access to my work travel bookings. How wrong I was. I entered my trip number and got “this booking was made by someone else so we (haha) can only add the trip manually. Would you like to do that?” So I replied “yes”. But the app doesn’t want “we” (i.e. Key Travel) to add the trip manually. No, the app wanted ME to add the trip manually. It asked for the flight number (I thought this was to verify the record so that it could populate the trip). No. It is literally asking me to type in all the details of the trip. Because even although I have added the first flight of the trip, I still have to manually add every other part of the trip. So please tell me what this app actually does? I might as well (and have done) just put it straight into my calendar. Why, Key Travel, do you not have a synch between bookers, travellers and the app? The trip was booked by my booker but I am the one travelling. I cannot book a trip myself because I do not have the rights to book a trip myself. The app is mind-bogglingly functionless. ### 1/5 — Updated version is terrible *2023-03-31, version 22* The Key Travel app used to be quite useful in consolidating the places you were visiting on the homepage. This has been abandoned and it is now impossible to get your travel information through the mobile app. It is now a completely redundant app. What do we pay these people for? ### 1/5 — Does not allow login, only registration of new account *2023-02-23, version 22* This new version is utter crap. It asks you to either login or register a new account. But it only lets you register a new account. It doesn’t let you login with your already existing account. So for example, if you try to add a trip you’ve already booked using the booking reference it says this booking has been made by another account. well, no kidding that’s the problem it won’t let me log into my account that made the booking it will only let me register for a new account so you can’t link your existing KeyTravel account which I have held for years and years with the app which makes the app totally useless. ## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — New App is awesome *2023-08-08, version 23.2* First travel for a while, added the App and found is simple to use and with some great new features. Really good traveller support. ### 5/5 — A vast improvement *2022-11-04, version 21* The new version that was recently released is a huge improvement on the previous offering. I used this recently on a trip and it was updating me on delays and providing gate notifications well in advance of the airline or the screens in the airport ### 5/5 — Key Travel App *2015-01-27, version 1.0* My first successful travel App. Adding my own travel and business trips was as easy as email and hit send and the App did the rest.
