## What is KeyAlarm?

"Wait — that was today?"

By the time you realise, it's over.

The online lesson. The dentist. Your kid's school visit. The form that had to be
in by Friday. It was in your calendar the whole time. The notification came and
went while your phone was face down on the table.

KeyAlarm is for the appointments you cannot miss.

■ Add the keyword once. That's it.

Type "lesson" and set it for 30 minutes before. From then on, every event with
"lesson" in the title gets a real alarm — this week, next month, forever. You
never set another one by hand.

Three kids and a different activity every day? One rule covers all of them.

■ A real alarm, not a notification

KeyAlarm uses the same system alarms as the built-in Clock app. It rings on
silent. It rings in Focus. It keeps ringing until you reach over and stop it.
That is the whole point — a notification you can sleep through is not a reminder.

A single keyword can ring more than once. Thirty minutes before to start getting
ready, five minutes before to actually walk out the door. Two alarms, one rule.

■ Or take a whole calendar

Have a calendar just for your kid's activities? Skip keywords entirely and set an
alarm for every event in it, whatever it says.

■ See that it's set

Open the Scheduled tab and every upcoming alarm is right there with its time.
No wondering whether it worked. Don't need one of them? Swipe it away, or tap the
× on the Lock Screen countdown.

■ Your calendar stays yours

KeyAlarm has no servers. Your events are read on your iPhone and never leave it.
No account, no sign-in, nothing to opt out of.

■ Free for 30 days, then a one-time purchase

No subscription. Pay once, keep it. And if the trial runs out, alarms you already
set keep ringing — only new ones stop being added. An app like this should never
go quiet because of billing.

Requires iOS 26 or later. Works with any calendar your iPhone syncs, including
Google, Outlook, and iCloud.

All-day events can now ring at a time you choose (8:00 AM by default) on the day itself, instead of the night before. Turn on “Include all-day events” in Settings and pick the time.

KeyAlarm now speaks six more languages: Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean, Spanish, German, and French. Settings guidance now matches iOS 26's actual labels.

Bug fixes.

- The nightly "tomorrow's alarms" notification never appeared because the app
  never asked for notification permission. It now asks once after this update.
- The Scheduled list could show alarms that had actually failed to register.
