I used 25€ of service and they decided to take 60€. They will explain you they can do it because it is hidden somewhere in the T&C. This is scam. Avoid. ### 1/5 — Shockingly terrible technology for such an old company *2019-11-01, version 3.3* The key pickup cafes require internet 100% of the time to work, and often don’t have connection to the internet. But I’ve been standing here for 20 minutes waiting to return my keys, and I had similar troubles when retrieving them. AirBnB hosts: Do not force your guests to use this app. You are causing them trouble at a time when they want to enjoy their vacation. AirBnB guests: Ask your host for another way to retrieve the keys. Thank goodness the air b&b had a concierge to help me, but why not just leave the key with them in the first place? Ideally the key lockers should have a wifi hotspot to use only with key cafe. Then the user could open the locker from the app. Also locker would not scan the fob when returning. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work, pretty sure the positive reviews are fake *2019-06-09, version 2.1.0* The app doesn’t load on IOS. It just hangs, and it doesn’t seem to be a new problem with the current build, old reviews say the same. In theory this is convenient but in practice it’s a poorly made app with hoops to jump through just to acquire a key, where instead you should be able to have your host email you a code ### 4/5 — This is a good service to have. User interface needs a lot of work. *2019-06-09, version 2.1.0* The interface needs A LOT of work. Quite confusing how to actually set up your key and find a location but once you get past all that, the service works. They give you your first two key drop offs free and the call center is 24/7. Make sure the location you drop off your key is going to be open at the time you plan on picking them up. A 24 hour location (like 7-11) is your safest bet if you think delays are possible. Overall satisfied with the service. ### 1/5 — Read Privacy Terms! *2019-06-07, version 2.1.0* This app has pretty much zero limits on what they collect and how they use it. I am supposed to trust that I can limit information sharing AFTER I provide it, but it also GATHERS DATA FROM YOUR PHONE WHEN YOU USE IT. No thanks, I stopped signing up after reading the terms. Nos relations commerciales avaient cependant très bien commencées, dommage car le produit fonctionne parfaitement bien ### 1/5 — Has never worked for me *2024-01-17, version 3.13* I have tried to use this system when staying at a rental property four times now (so, picking keys up four times, dropping them off four times) and it has not worked on any of those occasions. It literally just does not work. Sometimes the system is off-line, sometimes the touchscreen just doesn’t respond, sometimes the codes don’t work, and so on. I’m a fairly tech savvy person and I don’t believe the error is on my end. Each time I have called support and spent 30-60 minutes being walked through various trouble shooting steps. Dropping off was a horrible experience - the box disconnected twice and required both an access code and fob. Had to call the landlord to get the code + the dob didnt scan the first few times. Took me 20mins total with unhelpful customer support to eventually drop off the keys. Really should have take 2 minutes top. ### 1/5 — terrible product *2022-08-05, version 3.13* this product is terrible. keys are constantly lost, but in the box. the user interface is absolutely horrendous. the box goes offline constantly, making it so you can’t get keys. do not purchase this system! ### 1/5 — Completely useless - just type in code instead *2020-01-07, version 3.6.1* I stayed at an Airbnb that used KeyCafe. This app did not import the key that was sent by the host. Instead I had to punch in the 9 digit code at the lockbox, which means that this app was of no use whatsoever. Save yourself the time and don’t bother installing this app. Instead, just use the numeric code at the cafe. ### 1/5 — DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY *2019-11-01, version 3.3* It’s a great idea but they are extremely incompetent and not consistent. Kit a good sign for the rest of the service…. ### 5/5 — I’m a Vendor *2022-10-08, version 3.13* I think this is a great idea I’ve been using it for about a year now, the property manager sends me an alert that comes up on my app and I pick up the keys and drop them off. Sometimes it’s a little inconvenient as when you finish a job you wanna go straight home, but in the grand scheme of things it’s much easier than what it takes sometimes jumping through hoops to get keys because the lockbox is not allowed on property. A friend asked me to download the app and drop some keys off in the drop box and it was genuinely very easy. I don't write many reviews, but I can't believe how well this app and the associated services work. When this started in Canada, I used it a few times and have been hooked ever since. It really simplifies my key exchanges and is super user friendly! Lots of customizable options available and lightweight in use. Tendría que mejorar la introducción. *2023-07-24* Una vez que le sacas la mano a como funciona la app. Es muy buena. Siempre y te da varias obvio es específicas para poder hacer con el lockbox. Al comienzo la app no te explica muy bien el tema de cómo configurar un lock público con tu perfil. Tuve que llamar al número que es 24horas. Y me ayudaron a entender todo. Y eso que yo soy un chico de 22 años. Me llevo bien con la tecnología y me costo. No me quiero imaginar alguien mayor. Se vuelve loco.
