Amazingly My required Hindi Modular Key layout is available in this app but only works as On Screen Keyboard. Unfortunately it is not connected or synced with IPAD pro Folio Keyboard, while i type on physical Folio Keyboard it doesn’t get typed. Any help in this regard is appreciated. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Frequent and Seemingly Random Crashes *2026-05-31, version 18.0.248* This keyboard has been very helpful to me for custom glyphs and layouts with more symbol acceesibility than the default iOS keyboard, but it's been severely lacking. For one, it seems to be poorly maintained; I don't even know if it is at all. It doesn't make any attempt to integrate with the design language of iOS, which is unfortunate and disapoointing—there aren't even any in-built appearance options either, so you're stuck with the default. The biggest issue has been when the keyboard crashes, mandating a phone restart for it to function again. Previously, it only happened if I turned off the screen while the keyboard was in-use, but now, it happens at random whether or not the keyboard is active after locking the phone. It's highly frustrating and makes this keyboard unusable, despite its advantages over less trustworthy options (like Google's Gboard or Microsoft's SwiftBoard) that I've considered. It's even more annoying considering that with this keyboard non-functional, I don't have any one size fits all solution to my keyboard needs. Fix this keyboard, please. It's genuinely one of the best I know in terms of layouts, and it deserves more than to become a bug-riddled mess. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work right *2025-03-22, version 17.0.335* Only works in some apps. Would it hurt to include ANYTHING about how to actually use the app? ### 1/5 — Not working with new Magic Keyboard *2024-05-22, version 17.0.325* Dear Keyman, Thanks for the app. I just got the new iPad Pro 2024, along with the new Magic Keyboard. The Keyman English - EuroLatin (SIL) keyboard doesn't work with the new Magic Keyboard for some reason. However, the Keyman keyboard does work with the in-screen keyboard. Could you please fix the app so that it works with the latest Magic Keyboard? Once you do that, I will be happy to give you five stars! The placement doesn't quite make sense. If I want to make the EE sound, I have to long-press F. Why is it under F? It would make sense to have multiple options under a relevant letter, or to have all the variants of one symbol with that same symbol. Right now, it's trial and error if the letter I need is not one of the main ones on display. Edit: I had to change my rating because of the update. I listen to YouTube all day at work and it uses 28% of my battery. Using this keyboard for literally one minute used 20% battery and my phone got hot. Please provide the name of the keyboard that you are having this experience this with with specific examples of the behavior you expect and what it currently outputs. ### 1/5 — Frequent blank keyboard *2021-01-18, version 13.0.115* If the screen goes off during typing, the keyboard became blank on resume. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Same problem. ### 1/5 — NO LONGER WORKS AT ALL!!!!!! *2020-12-07, version 13.0.113* This app no longer works! It simply won’t open at all!!!!! ### 1/5 — Too bad it's the only app of its kind :( *2016-12-22, version 2.4.1* It offers keyboards in many "arcane" languages, but the usability is beyond bar and there's no easy way to reach the team. The layouts have many usability issues, the keyboard often does not render correctly (and you have to go to settings to remove and re-add it) and there's no "minimize" button, to name the biggest ones. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2015-11-04, version 2.4.1* Do you even bother to read the reviews??? Everyone here was crying that it is impossible to write the 5th letter in every Amharic alphabet because your 5th vowel (Ee) is missing and yet with your latest update this hasn't been fixed. Why on earth did you charge us for an app that is incomplete?
