## What is Keyra?

Keyra is a key manager built around a local-first approach and clear data boundaries. Record information for apps, email accounts, websites, door locks, safes, and more. Save an account only, a key only, or both. Preset service icons, custom images, groups, favorites, and membership tags keep even a large collection easy to scan.

Core features
• Local vault: Nothing is uploaded by default, and the full vault works offline
• Always Offline: Keep selected records away from network access while managing them alongside regular groups
• Flexible organization: Create groups, touch and hold to reorder, and move or delete items in batches
• Fast lookup: Approximate matching runs only on your device
• Membership details: Add a tier, enrollment date, expiration date, or remaining uses to the same vault item
• Privacy protection: Guard sensitive actions with Face ID or device authentication
• Auto-Lock: Restarts its timer after your last action
• Timed reveal and clipboard clearing: Reduce how long keys remain visible on screen or in the system clipboard
• Optional encrypted backup: Data is encrypted on-device before ciphertext is uploaded; restoring requires the matching independent recovery key and the corresponding Keyra account

Always Offline records are never uploaded. When you mark a record Always Offline, Keyra requests deletion of any existing cloud copy and keeps the record only on your device. You decide whether Keyra may use the network and whether to upload once or automatically.

Keyra contains no ads, does not track you across apps, and does not sell your personal data.

### 2.3.8 — 2026-08-05

Keyra 2.3.8 refines the Plus and Settings experience:

• The annual Plus plan shows “Free Trial” only when Apple reports eligibility, together with the local Store price. Restore Purchases remains a separate flow.
• Settings are reorganized: privacy information is grouped under Version, Language & Region moved to Display, and the Network Access Ledger is now available to everyone.
• Removed unused reminders and duplicate explanations for a clearer experience.
• Added Balance as a validity method when adding or editing membership and subscription details.

### 2.3.7 — 2026-08-01

Keyra 2.3.7 strengthens security across accounts, network connections, and the cloud:
• Account IDs can now combine letters and numbers. They are case-insensitive and remain unique, and valid email addresses can still be used as account IDs.
• Production connections now use standard HTTPS endpoints, improving compatibility for sign-up, sign-in, Plus status, and encrypted cloud backups across different network environments.
• Cloud permissions are now more strictly separated between Free and Plus. Without valid Plus access, Keyra cloud backups cannot be uploaded, accessed, or restored.
• Cloud backups continue to be encrypted on-device. Offline keys and offline API keys are never included in uploaded data.
• The API screen now shows only the models, balances, or limits actually returned by each provider’s official API. When no authoritative balance is available, remaining tokens are no longer estimated.
• Fixed issues with the Plus entry point and some navigation interactions, and improved stability on iOS 17, iOS 18, and iOS 26.
