The app worked greatly till I installed iOS 17.5. Since then it does not work anymore. So sad. I hope the developer will fix this in an update.

The extension works great and with the new „default“ setting one can finally use a custom search engine by default. 
Keep up the great work, your ext. should be way more known/famous ;-)

This is the missing feature from other browsers for me. I wanted to swtich to the Safari Browser in order to benefit from the power savings in the context of the M processors, which Chrome and others don't have. The only downside for me was the missing feature of keyboard search in the search bar on other websites or internal tools at work. With this I can search our knowledge base, HR websites, Salesforce, etc. in no time without having to wait for the landing page to load to show me the search bar. This time is wasted. The bulk import capability with the help of JSON is reasonably easy to use and allowed me to migrate quickly to Safari. Awesome tool. Never again without it! THANKS!

This is such a great extension!  It makes searching for what you want so much easier.  And it works on both a mac and iOS.  I've been using this in Firefox for years, so glad to have this functionality in Safari.

맥 쓰는 많은 이들이 그러하듯 저도 여러 웹브라우저를 신나게 유람했습니다. 그러다 다시 사파리로 돌아오면서 가장 불편했던 것이, 크로미엄 계열 브라우저에서 요긴히 잘 쓰던 Search Shortcut 기능이 없다는 것이었어요.

우연히 이 앱을 발견했는데, 업무용 맥북에 설치하고 매우 기분이 좋았지만 설정 내보내기도 안되고 해서 방에 있는 맥에 세팅할 엄두가 나지 않았어요. 그런데 아이클라우드 동기화? 개발자야! 고맙다!

The ability to use search with keywords streamlines web browsing for me. This extension provides this (and more, by allowing the keywords to be attached to the end of the query) as well as syncing it across devices. Great work!

I have already moved to Safari after owning a mac pro but still I was missing little bit life hacks from chrome days. Keyword search was one among them. Now I can say safari is as user friendly if not better than chrome. Plus the great privacy centric and ad blocking extensions from app store. Thanks for this one!

Wer im Arbeitsalltag in hoher Frequenz viele Dienste (Ticketsysteme, Issue Tracker, Übersetzer, Dokumentationen, Börsendienste) im Internet oder Intranet nutzt und Informationen schnell mit Stichworten (Ticketnummern, techn. Begriffen, Wertpapiernamen) addressieren kann, für den kann dieses Tool den Alltag komplett umkrempeln: Und zwar ganz einfach durch Reduktion der Komplexität (kein lästiges Suchen & Klicken nach dem richtigen Bookmark, Hände an der Tastatur lassen, kein Warten auf Suchdialoge).

Apple has removed all the functionality of this app with its latest Safari updates. You can’t add or change keywords or websites, and you cannot change the default search page behavior.

Manchmal funktioniert es, dann wieder nicht. Insofern also nicht zu gebrauchen. Es gibt bessere Apps, bei denen die Suche mittels eines Keywords einwandfrei funktioniert.

I really like the idea of this extension because it replicates functionality that I depend upon on the desktop. But unfortunately it just not work reliably on iOS and iPadOS. Many times when I go to use it, I’ll enter the command correctly in the address bar and I’ll instead simply get search results from my default search engine. I hope the developer manages to get this extension working because I really want to use it.

Dl’d this because I wanted to use Startpage as my default search in Safari. This totally does the trick. The keyword search feature is cool too, but I mainly got this to just change the default search, and it does that seamlessly. Thanks Arne!

Gets annoying when you’re on duckduckgo and trying to search “i ____” and it immediately takes you to a google images search. Like it’s cool, but when it affects every search bar it gets so old so fast. Google now thinks I’m a robot and gives me recaptcha prompts for every search now.

Auch wenn ich mir gewünscht hätte, das bei Angabe eines Keywords auch steht, das dieses verwendet wird.
Also "a Hammer" eingeben und unter steht "Amazon Hammer"

Aber wenn man die Keywords kennt ist es weniger wichtig. Es funktioniert super und spart viel Zeit.
