They also started playing videos at the top of selected news stories. Result- videos play when I just want to read the article. I can’t use the app to read the news in bed now because I wake up my spouse and I can’t use it when I watch TV because I interrupt the other viewers and I can’t read the news at the dining table because of the loud videos and I can’t just immediately shut off the video if it’s an ad. ### 1/5 — Ads have made it unusable *2021-08-18, version 4.2* Popup ads now cover entire screen in a completely different language with no option to exit the ads or have them time out. Completely unusable. ### 1/5 — Horrible App *2020-10-11, version 3.5* This app had to be designed by a hoarder. They’ve shoved so much garbage into the space that it’s ruined the use. Ads on every page. Scrolling is horrid due to configuration. Zero stars. Do your job people! Terrible App. Can’t rely during emergency, it doesn’t update and bunch of ads. To watch old “Live Stream” is a joke. All it is are KEZI commercials no streaming from the last segment news. Use Facebook is a lot quicker. ### 1/5 — Video freezes *2019-11-27, version 3.3* I've tried for several days to watch the news through both my iPad and my Apple TV. Neither will let me watch an entire newscast. When I reload, it starts at the beginning. I haven't seen past the first 10 minutes of any newscast yet. ### 1/5 — Watch Live Terrible *2017-12-10, version 3.0* Here it is: like a needle on the, like a needle on the, like a needle on the record, and back-forth glitch, then it plays. Moreless. News, and even ads, stall out. Sent email to report. Got a ‘thank you’ message. None the better. Myself, and others I know have various ‘carriers’, yet it occurs on a regular & consistent basis. There are other stations out there besides KEZI. Fix. Make Better. ### 1/5 — Terrible photos and editing *2017-07-14, version 2.4.0* The editing on this is AWFUL. I know middle schoolers who could edit better. It seems as though every single article is thrown together in a few seconds then immediately posted without any proofreading. The pictures within the posts are also extremely pixilated and only partially visible. Dont waste your time with KEZI. App shows weather from Sept 22nd *2024-10-02* Why did they bother? App can't be trusted for current weather and news. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2023-11-08* Why did they bother? Click on "live" newscast and it's just one commercial after another for KEZI and a love mattress. Stories and weather forecasts are outdated. Just go to the website instead. Thought I might give a current version review. I just started using the app about 7 months ago. I have had NO experiences such as those described. Either those reviews were made by the competitions trolls or just Nasty complaining can’t please them if you tried people. Or they really fixed a load of problems with this app. PROS: they keep the recent high priority stories listed with updates. The weather forecaster is cool, it includes the radar that you can move around the region and entire state for detail view. CONS: To many ads 😎. Overall I give it 5 stars 🌟 based solely on its own credit. I had to turn notifications off because I was constantly getting breaking news alerts for this weeks “dog of the week” ### 3/5 — Proofread before posting *2021-08-30, version 4.2* The past few days I have noticed that the articles posted don’t always make sense. They throw random quotes or sentences into them the articles that don’t belong.
