Was not able to progress farther. Fortunately the device works as is, but I bought it for the EQ customization. Please fix khadas. ### 1/5 — Refuses to function *2025-07-11* The app has been fine - albeit kind of limited - for a while but it at least connected. Recently, it just refuses to work. Attempting to connect brings up a prompt manually add the device then come back to the app… which doesn’t recognize the Tea. The device itself is nice. Especially for the form factor. But this app has become completely useless. It needs an update so it actually functions. And it also needs a custom EQ setting that is able to be tweaked. ### 1/5 — Spotty connection | EQ only for BT *2025-03-13* I understand the Khadas team worked really hard on this and I’m really sorry to write this review… but this is app really lacking. Only way to connect the device to the app is if I turn on the DAC, wait for it to connect via Bluetooth, then open the app, wait for it to connect, then plug it in. If I plug it in first then open the app - no dice. It’s annoying but I can deal with that. What is truly very annoying, makes the app useless and seems absolutely ridiculous is that you can only use the eq in Bluetooth mode. I thought maybe you could adjust the EQ (all presets by the way) in Bluetooth and it would remember in wired mode, but, alas, it does not. So, if you’re looking for a wired dac with eq - this is not it. Form factor is great. Admittedly, a bit annoying. I am frustrated that I cannot adjust EQ while the device is connected via USB C, only Bluetooth which is worse quality. The app is fine but please please please add custom EQ. Luckily I really like the default sound out of the TEA. However, headphones can differ greatly and it would be great to have the ability to customize the EQ. ### 3/5 — Eq needs help *2024-01-25* I like the app except for the main reason I had hoped for it. The equalizer is a let down. You can’t adjust it when you connect to device through usb-c. I also wish that you could manually adjust the equalizer to your liking.
