## What is Kho?

Kho-Kho is one of the oldest chasing games in South Asia, and this is it on a phone: one chaser, three runners, a line of seated team-mates, and seven stages that get faster every time you clear one.

HOW IT PLAYS
Drag anywhere and the active chaser follows your finger. Run into a runner to catch them — catch all three and the stage is yours. Run into a seated team-mate instead and the kho passes: they jump up, you sit down, and the chase carries on from where they were facing. That hand-off is the whole game, and learning when to use it is what separates a scramble from a plan.

THE RULES THAT BITE
You may not touch the yellow centre line between the poles. Four touches and the runners win the stage. You may cross around either end pole — the free zones — so the lane becomes a problem to solve rather than a corridor to sprint down.

SEVEN STAGES
Each one is quicker than the last. There is no timer and nothing to buy: a stage ends when you catch all three or give away four fouls. Clear all seven and it starts again, faster.

MADE TO BE PLAYED FOR REAL
Kho-Kho needs no equipment — chalk a line, pick teams, and go. If this gets one afternoon of it started in a park, it has done its job.

ADS
There is one full-screen ad, and only ever between stages — after you have cleared one, never during play, and never twice inside a minute. Ads are set to General audiences and non-personalised.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-27

The stage title no longer runs over the score on iPhone.

An ad between stages no longer leaves the next stage running behind it — the chase starts when you close the ad, not while it is still open.

Every stage you finish is followed by a break, won or lost.

The chase starts with the runners on the far side of the pitch, and the chaser you steer is easier to spot.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-24

Fixed the stage title running over the score on iPhone.

The chaser you steer is easier to find at the start of a stage, and the chase now begins with the runners on the far side of the pitch.

### 1.0 — 2026-10-23

No release notes.
