## What is Kia Access?

Kia Access is the official Kia America, Inc. owner’s app. Kia Access makes getting your vehicle information and services easier than ever. Gain all the benefits of the Kia Owner’s Portal, combined with many of the convenient, streamlined features of Kia Connect (formerly known as UVO link) (if equipped) [1] [2] [4] – right in the palm of your hand.

Download the app to access:

• Owner’s Manual, quick guides, videos, and warranty information
• Vehicle payment information (if financed through Kia Motors Finance)
• Information about maintenance milestones

Vehicles equipped with Kia Connect may also have access to the following features: 
• Vehicle health reports [2]
• Send locations to your vehicle’s navigation system [3]
• Remotely lock/unlock doors and initiate horns & lights [2]
• Remotely find your car [3]
• Remotely set your car’s cabin temperature [4]

Plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles support special features, including:
• Remotely check battery status and estimated driving range
• Locate charging stations  
• Schedule charging times

Kia Connect features require an active Kia Connect subscription; purchase/lease of certain new Kia vehicles with Kia Connect includes a complimentary 1-year subscription starting from new vehicle retail sale/lease date as recorded by the dealer. After the complimentary 1-year Kia Connect subscription expires, continued access to the full suite of Kia Connect services available on the vehicle will require a paid subscription at the then-current subscription rate or use of certain Kia Connect features may immediately terminate. It continually says I need to verify my email and phone. But it doesn’t send any codes to my email. Yes, I have checked my junk folder. The app is useless. I agree with others that this app should not be a paid app to use all of the limited features. It’s ridiculous on so many levels.

Would like to see more features like open trunk and not frunk. Remote lock when walking away with phone. Vent car windows interior temperature etc. Closer to what Tesla has.
Phone key is unreliable when needed.

My favorite car I’ve ever owned. I’m a senior, and im counting on theirs one to last! It’s a plug-in hybrid, the third one I’ve owned. Deep red. Great sound system. Fantastic gas mileage. Smooth handling and minimal road noise. Only thing it doesn’t have is a front parking assist and camera (but the rear camera is fine). Love it!

It never works. You will always have to open the app on your phone to reconnect to the app on the watch. The watch app is only good for notifications. I would honestly put no stars if I could. The app on the phone is great besides having to sign in all the time.

Was given this service for one year free when I leased vehicle. Following year, wife was given this feature for entire length of lease. Whether this is a dealership deal, or direction from Kia, it's bad practice. Pay crazy amounts for cars these days, only to be nickel and dimed.
