## Most critical reviews (8 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t support the latest KiCAD version

*2025-06-03, version 1.0.0*

My project doesn’t open in the app since it was made with a recent version of KiCAD. The app only supports up to 12/29/2024

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with Kicad 8

*2024-11-14, version 1.0.0*

Doesn’t work with Kicad 8

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2023-11-29, version 1.0.0*

No good

### 1/5 — Dos not work

*2022-10-26, version 1.0.0*

I tried it on my iPad Pro, but it could not open any project from a local file. Error message “Could not extract”. I tried both KiCad 5 and 6 projects, same result.

### 1/5 — Without purchase unusable

*2022-10-11, version 1.0.0*

I’ll spend 10 minutes to open my project from GitHub without success. Direct GitHub access from app is paid and without it it’s too dificult to obtain project files to your phone tablet.

I would consider paying for the app, but:
- Only after testing it first
- Definitely not 30 usd for viewer (I would consider it for full feature set KiCad), price would need to be lower.

### 1/5 — Charging $30

*2022-07-25, version 1.0.0*

Charging $30 for 3D viewer for a software that’s open source and free is absurd.

### 3/5 — Needs updating

*2023-03-10*

Looks promising, but needs to be updated to work with latest KiCAD.

### 5/5 — Nice basic little viewer

*2024-01-14, version 1.0.0*

Automatically extracts files from a zipped folder on you iPad. Select files from a list of compatible types in folder.
