I gave this 5 stars originally and read other reviews where the knife just didn’t work. I’m gutted as I was having so much fun but the knife missions ruin it. If you stab something that doesn’t move like a tree for example the knife only registers a hit occasionally. Please fix this and I’ll put my review to 5 again. Makes you wonder if they even play tested it.

Still have the knife levels in game so not worth a purchase. Knife doesn’t work at all. Therefore game is useless as you can’t fight bosses without finishing knife levels. Which means the game can’t be completed. Awesomeness. Not.

Like others have said, it is a pretty good game. Lots of fun. Until the knife level. Knife combat is very poor. Frustrating. Even outside of combat, stabbing environmental objects doesn’t work much of the time. In combat, you are dead.  Bad enough for me to quit playing on the second mission after ‘Basic Training’. Maybe I’ll pick it up another time.  For now, it is not worth the aggravation. It’s too bad.  I was kind of excited about this game.

Instead of wasting time updating the icon for an app, how about it get optimized for the iPhone X already.  Great game but it looks like trash with black borders around the screen.

This gem was finally updated.

It’s Smash TV meets Contra with some 80’s action heroes homages tossed in. Very addicting. Very visceral. Lots of blood and carnage. Pick your hero. Level him up. Blast some baddies. Buy this game now!!

Oh man this brings back so many memories of top down shooters. It’s a blast to play. Needs to be updated for XS Max as there is parts of the menus cut off. Also the sound is a mess. It’s just a mush of crackling and distortion.

One of my personal favorite games that I’ve found on the App Store—it’s funny, gory, hard (the knife levels are especially difficult because the knife seems to work inconsistently, but that became its own pleasurable challenge, in my case). The music is awesome too. Please make a sequel!

Classic 80’s gameplay merged with modern execution. Great controls and a layer of strategy (you cant just run and gun) will have you coming back for more. The music, ridiculously named characters and the over the top gore are just added bonuses.
