ROTATION POOLS, EVERY SPORT Tag each player with the positions they play, from your Team tab, and substitutions pair within them: a winger comes on for a winger, a front rower for a front rower. Now on soccer, hockey, netball, oztag, touch football, rugby union and water polo, joining AFL. Rotations and auto-fill meet a tagged preference first whenever that position is up, specialists get their spot ahead of utility players, and the bench shows each player's tags so manual picks are easy too. The rotation alert lists the exact swaps it is about to make before you tap Rotate Now, with a clear flag when nobody on the bench covers a position. Pools never block a substitution: a short bench still rotates, and fairness still decides who comes on. Players who share a name are now easy to tell apart on every screen. NETBALL ROLLING SUBSTITUTIONS Senior and Opens netball comps that play rolling subs can now switch them on from the Season screen: rotation alerts, a next-rotation card built on bibs rather than shirt numbers, and rotation pools on the three thirds, Shooter, Midcourt and Defender. Junior netball keeps its quarter-by-quarter planner exactly as it was. WATER POLO KEEPERS Senior goalkeepers no longer appear in automatic rotations; a keeper change is always your call. Junior teams still take turns in goal, FlippaBall included. AFL ADVANCED STATS Log an Inside 50 for either team with one tap from the live field, and Kickd works out your scoring rate per entry, so you can see whether you are using your supply or bombing it away. After every goal it asks who won the centre bounce, and one tap credits the winner. At every quarter break, on Results, and in match history you get the INSIDE 50s card: entry differential, scoring rate for both teams, the per-quarter split and your centre clearance record. THE AFL OVAL The AFL field is now a proper oval, with a curved boundary, goal squares in the ends, and position rows that follow the curve. On a coach's advice, 15-a-side now fields a Ruck and a Ruck Rover, with the centre half-back and centre half-forward out. Teams always field a ruck and a follower, whatever the count. LINEUP SCREENS THAT MATCH MATCH DAY Your AFL and rugby league lineup screens now look exactly like the live field and fill the whole screen, so what you plan is what you see at the whistle. More room for the field and the bench on tablet, and the field stays full size at quarter time and half time breaks. FOR PARENTS AND SUPPORTERS The live view now shows every stat your coach is logging, including team-level counts and the opposition's tallies, not just a shortlist. Senior rugby league teams get a half-time card with set completion and errors for both sides. RUGBY LEAGUE ON A PHONE Undo the last event you logged without leaving the live screen. CARNIVAL AND GALA DAYS Match history is now cached on your phone, so a full day of games is still there after you close the app with no reception. Pre-planned lineups restore properly for every sport, a banner tells you when you are working offline, and a finished game can no longer reappear over the next one. JOINING A TEAM Parents who join twice now land in the right team instead of hitting an error, and coaches who already have a team can back out of the Create Team screen. Voice shortcuts included ("penalty us 4"). The sin bin countdown now starts when the player leaves the field, not at the referee's call. New Penalties Won line in match stats and history. Kickd Callout voice logging: Pre-game mic check on the home screen, so a flat headset never surprises you at kickoff. Pass the check and the mic arms itself when the game starts. Voice logging now works at every age group, across all 10 sports. AFL: Optional rotation alerts, team size options including 15-a-side, and 13-minute quarters. Rotation pools to help plan fair game time. Also in this update: Carnival days: pre-plan several games in advance for oztag, touch football and water polo. Clearer pass names: Team Pass and Team Callout. Small fixes across the live match screens. ### 2.2.5 — 2026-08-13 AFL, rebuilt around your rotations. Plus carnival day planning, rugby league referee calls, and a fix for matches recorded out of signal. AFL TEAM SIZE AND QUARTER LENGTH Set your on-field count to 9, 12, 15, 16 or 18 to match your league, including the 15-a-side five-lines-of-three layout. Quarter length now offers 13 minutes. AFL ROTATION POOLS Tag your players as Forward, Mid or Back and Kickd pairs your subs within the zone, so the player coming on is matched to the player coming off. Auto-fill places tagged players in their own zone, the rotation card shows the field position on both columns, and a flag appears when a pairing crosses zones. Drag any player to override the pairing. AFL ROTATION ALERTS Timed rotation reminders are now available for AFL. New teams start with them on, and existing teams can switch them on from the Season screen. CARNIVAL AND GALA DAYS Oztag, touch football and water polo join netball with multi-game planning. Set the lineups for every game of the day before you leave home, then load the next game in one tap between matches. RUGBY LEAGUE REF CALL Sin bin, sent off and on report now have a button on the live screen: pick the call, then tap the player. On Report is new, and unlike the other two the player stays on the field. RUGBY LEAGUE ON A PHONE Good ball and yardage classification for the opposition, and their six again count, are now on the possession banner on phone as well as tablet. WATER POLO AND TAG SPORTS Your team's score now sits in its own cell on the field, matching the opposition cell. MATCHES RECORDED OUT OF SIGNAL Fixed a fault where a match logged with no reception could be dropped instead of uploaded once your phone reconnected. ALSO IN THIS RELEASE Season Pass is now called Team Pass.
