## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Could have been great

*2021-02-23, version 1.2*

Last update was a year ago, ouch.
Honestly this app could have been great, but it seems to have fallen through the cracks. It crashes constantly, nothing works as it should anymore. I’m honestly wondering why there are still ads out for it (Instagram)
The concept is great! And things like ammo tracking and rounds fired and cleaning schedules is what I was looking for! I just wish it worked correctly.

### 1/5 — Creating a registry?

*2021-01-31, version 1.2*

I don’t believe I would want to list weapons and ammunition along with my address and gps location. Call me weird but NO.

### 1/5 — Great concept, but bugs are killing it

*2020-12-12, version 1.2*

I love the idea of this app, unfortunately I can’t get past filling in my basic information before the app crashes. Great concept, but please work out the bugs

### 1/5 — Too clunky and too many bugs

*2020-06-07, version 1.2*

Sent multiple emails with UI enhancement ideas, submitted known bugs which cause the app to crash, even recieved a response and an offer for free stuff. Replied, the dialogue stopped, no changes were made, same issues still present. It is too long and too clunky to set up challenges with other shooters. Need a pre-loaded list of drills/courses of fire and way to submit new ones. The scoring option is crap. Most (all) practical pistol sports go by lowest time wins. Here, highest wins. It speaks to a greater issue that the developers are not actual shooters.

### 1/5 — Glitchy

*2020-05-29, version 1.2*

I tried using this app. It looked good and seemed promising but it kept kicking me off.
I contacted the app developer directly, I messaged them on instagram when their ad would show up on my feed. I commented on their IG ad only to later see that my comments were deleted.

### 2/5 — Could be amazing

*2022-10-05, version 1.2*

Coulda been better, it has not been updated in 2 years, it is outdated and lacking manufactures on their list. The concept is great, at least it was free.

### 2/5 — Needs better optimization

*2020-08-03, version 1.2*

App seems to run fine until you get to the armory part. Then the app seems to crash. Also the resolution doesn’t match the phone I’m using seems to only be for non 10 models

### 2/5 — App crashes

*2020-05-23, version 1.2*

App crashes after adding photos of targets... which is the main purpose of the app. I also wish there was a session log for cleanings instead of just editing the date within the armory. Cleaning session log could allow note information of depth of cleaning, etc.

### 3/5 — Note section

*2020-11-27, version 1.2*

It would be nice if the developers added a notes section.

### 3/5 — Broken app

*2020-05-04, version 1.2*

Slide from right to left at login screen...not sure what happens but now we are at the directory?

## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great looking app!

*2020-04-13, version 1.2*

It’s a great looking app with easy interface. I emailed the developer and suggested to add a serial number section below the make and model.

And to create a way to email the entire list to yourself or law enforcement in the event of fire or theft.

Developer was quick to respond and receptive to suggestions.

Looking forward to using this app and for it to continue to grow.

I’ll be suggesting it to friends within my agency.

👍🏼💪🏼

### 5/5 — Best Second Amendment Ever!

*2020-03-28, version 1.2*

Extremely comprehensive. Fosters continued growth in firearm knowledge, skills and performance. Great way to find your perfect range! Great gear for sale. An unique, well thought out and helpful app!

### 5/5 — Beautiful App with faults

*2020-03-26, version 1.2*

Initial review is a 3 star as the Armory section won’t remember an added manufacturer. So if you don’t have a CZ, HK, GLOCK or any of the small pool of preloaded manufacturers, you’ll be reentering the name multiple times.

I own five Sig Sauer pistols, I quit after the 2nd.

### 3/5 — Updated - Low expectations mitigate disappointment but what else does this?

*2020-04-28, version 1.2*

As a new gun owner this app was seemed like an awesome way to keep track of my ammo inventory as well as my target shooting skills over time. I was disappointed to find that you are unable to change the date of the session.

A problem I am having is that every time I click on a previously entered session, the app just crashes. This happens every time. I tried to delete the app and reinstall but when I did that i needed to reset my password and the email I received for a password reset was blank. I did it twice and got the same empty email. Luckily i was able to sign in using to google. *THIS NO LONGER HAPPENS WITH NEW SESSIONS, BUT OLD ONES STILL MAKE THE APP CLOSE*

However I noticed that despite my selection of a particular ammo and quantity from my inventory for a session, that quantity selected is NOT SUBTRACTED FROM MY INVENTORY TOTAL. The whole point of this app is to keep track of exactly this and it doesn’t actually work.

*Update* while the above is still accurate, I received a response from their team and they will be addressing these issues. I am looking forward to it. I will continue to use this app in hopes of its improvment over time. Until then, I challenge anyone to find me an app that offers what this does.
Luckily for Kickin’ Brass and Gunsmith Nation, you won’t.
