Hope this developer will make the same app for Android ### 5/5 — Made the NYC subway easy *2019-04-19* We just returned from 4 days in New York and KickMap made navigating the city a breeze. Just put in where you want to go and it gives you step by step what to do. The first step will tell you which subway station to walk to from your location and which train you need to take. The key here is to push the map and it will show how to get to that station. The other apps I tried did not do this and without the map it’s real easy to go to the wrong station. The next steps will tell you which train to take and which stop to get off, and how many stops there will be in between. At the step where you exit it gives you a map with walking directions to your destination. I’m an old guy who lives in the country, so if I can do this anyone can. I highly recommend KickMap. ### 5/5 — Excellent app *2019-02-02, version 3.15.1* Whenever I’m in nyc I use KickMap. It gets me all around nyc efficiently and effectively. It’s a great app. ### 5/5 — Love My KickMap *2018-07-30* I have used KickMap from first on my IPod, then IPad and finally my Iphone. It is the most user friendly NYC Subway app ever! There is no more guessing if certain similar lines with the same color will actually get you to your destination. For example, on the classic subway map, I would have a difficult time telling which subway lines would take me to the American Museum of Natural History. KickMap made it easy to differentiate between the A and C line with different shades of blue. No more accidental stops in Morningside Heights. The 24 hour App is perfect for navigating the limited lines after a late show or a night with friends at the bar! I wish I'd skipped it as I find myself using Citymapper or Google maps instead. ### 2/5 — arrival times not updating *2021-07-06, version 3.17.13* i’ll open the app, and when i click arrival times it will show the old arrival times from the last time i opened the app. this will happen three or four times until it randomly works. ### 2/5 — Zooming problems *2012-04-10, version 3.0.6* Zooming into maps causes them to move entirely... Found the app somewhat confusing to use and sometimes inaccurate. Is not useless but Google maps is 10,000 times better. ### 3/5 — Bundle offer *2017-07-17* The app is good but the bundle offer was useless since its two times the same functionality **Developer response:** We're sorry for the confusion with the bundle. The NYC bundle is simply a way for people who originally purchased the iPhone-only app to get the Universal version without paying more. For example, the map has been updated to show that the Montague Street Tunnel is closed for repair from damage sustained by Superstorm Sandy. If the app is set to alert for the R train, it constantly sends alerts that a Queens/Manhattan R train won't go to Brooklyn, and vice versa. I don't want that alert. I know that the tunnel is closed.
