They either feel like slot machines designed to hook my kids. Kidbox is different. The stories are beautiful (vibrantly illustrated, genuinely well-written, and clearly made by people who care about children (parents, teachers, counselors). The read-aloud narration with word highlighting has been a game changer for my early reader. She's actually building confidence instead of just passively watching. This is what a kids' app should look like.
