App was quick to recognise car had been returned. Tried numerous times and the app died at various different points. App isn’t even needed for something like this. £15 taken and hopefully will be refunded. Don’t bother. Really difficult to add card details and doesn’t unlock the car. ### 1/5 — Awful app and set up process! *2024-08-31, version 1.0.10* I tried to hire a car for my 5yo son to enjoy whilst looking around the Designer Outlet in Bridgend. We tried for over 30 minutes at the three different pick up/park stations at the outlet, but it wouldn’t release a car despite scanning a number of QR codes. The staff at the outlet were kind and helpful and called Kiddy Cars via telephone to release a car…but even that didn’t work for us. We could see other families had been successful, hiring cars that wouldn’t work for us minutes before and the staff at the outlet’s explanation was that the app’s connection was being temperamental. What we were hoping to have was a shopping trip with some fun for my son, but this situation turned out to be a very frustrating time for me and quite an upsetting experience for him. He was so disappointed. His excitement plummeted into an emotional meltdown! I said to him we would ‘try again next time’ whenever that may be, and I’m already dreading the ordeal. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-08-20, version 1.0.10* Just as frustrating as reported in other reviews. The app simply doesn’t work. We couldn’t get any cars, was charged twice the £15 deposit which will hopefully be refunded. It takes time to download, fill in your card details, try and try again. Very frustrating if you have a small child near you (at that age, their patience is limited - fyi clever app developers!). ### 1/5 — Wow don’t bother this app *2024-05-05, version 1.0.9* This app needs to be scrapped and sent to hell it doesn’t work it’s slow and glitches. Pointless ### 1/5 — Disappointing didn’t work! *2023-08-25, version 1.0.8* Really disappointed, my autistic son really wanted to have a go in one of the cars but the app just kept failing to work! Tried and tried to get it to work downloading it a number of times without joy. Consequently that lead to a screaming child. Don’t even bother trying!! ### 1/5 — Fancy some scam calls?! *2023-03-24, version 1.0.5* I don’t think an app was necessary to run kids carts rental. Well it is what it is. The worst part of it is that never have I had so many scammers calling me like after signing it to your app. It’s like 3-4 calls a day since I’ve signed in. First one came like an hour after I’ve signed in. Seems like GDPR doesn’t ring a bell for you guys. ### 1/5 — The worst of the worst. Doesn’t work. Don’t even try *2022-06-15, version 1.0.4* So many glitches and errors in this app that it’s impossible to actually make it through the journey and hire one of their stupid tiny cars. Don’t even start to try. You’ll end up with a frustrated screaming child and you’ll want to smash everything in sight just to deal with the anger and frustration. Plus why do I even have to download an app to do this in the first place? Ridiculous over engineering of a simple situation. Total fail. Whoever made this and whoever decided that the way to hire a stupid tiny car was through an app - both should be locked up or at least barred from ever starting or running any company that has anything to do with kids ever again. Only gripe is the cars are very big so some shops we had to leave it outside (attended).
