## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Cannot cancel

*2026-07-24*

This app seems to have to very helpful tools but they will charge your account and make it very very frustrating to cancel. You cannot cancel through the app and I have yet to figure out a way. No contact email or phone numbers for customer support either.

### 1/5 — Scammy Practices

*2026-07-20*

I tried to buy a TWO DOLLAR report, and was taken to pages that made it look like I was leaving the page and buying my report but actually ended up charging me $20 in additional workbooks. I fought for a return for that and was denied (already terrible business practice). Then a few weeks later I saw a $40 charge on my account for a subscription I was never made aware of even having. DO NOT GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION TO THIS COMPANY.

### 1/5 — Would not recommend

*2026-07-14*

I would not recommend this company based on my experience.
There is no clear or convenient way to cancel a subscription through the app. I searched throughout the app before deleting it, and there was no option to cancel or even view my subscription status. I also checked my Apple subscriptions, and it wasn’t listed there, so I believed I had simply signed up for a one-month service and deleted the app.
Instead, I was charged another $40 on the day of the renewal, which is when I realized it had been an ongoing subscription. When I contacted customer support, they refused to issue a refund.
If there had been a clear way to view my account information and cancel my subscription within the app, I would not be in this situation. Making subscription details and cancellation options difficult to find creates unnecessary frustration for customers. Whether intentional or not, it gives the impression that the process is designed to make cancellations difficult, and I don’t believe that’s a good business practice.
I hope the company improves its transparency by making subscription status, billing information, and cancellation options easily accessible within the app so other customers don’t have the same experience.

### 1/5 — Not for older kids

*2026-07-14*

This app has a 30 day guarantee. It was not beneficial for me. My daughter is 12 and this is geared toward younger children. I completed the required activities and still believe that this app does not benefit me. I have asked multiple times for a refund and I have not received the refund. Buyer beware because they don’t honor their guarantee.

### 1/5 — Not supportive

*2026-06-30*

This service offers help for a monthly fee. There is an introductory lower price for a trial period. What is not apparent is that you must then purchase “tools” in the form of booklets for every thing you want to accomplish. The service, by itself, is worthless. The service is also impossible to unsubscribe from, so far. This just adds insult to injury by further victimizing troubled parents. This app is misleading and potentially fraudulent, using a bait and switch tactic. Help yourself. Avoid this app.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-06-22*

I signed up for this app, realized it’s really not how they advertise and then there is no way to cancel your subscription and it also doesn’t show up in your Apple subscription so they have been charging me for 3 months without me even knowing or a way to easily cancel. I really would like a full refund as I haven’t even used the app

**Developer response:** Hi, thank you for taking the time to share this, and I'm really sorry to hear about the experience you've had. This isn't the impression we want anyone to have of Kidology, and I'd like to make it right.

Please reach out to us at support@kidology.app with the email you signed up with, and we'll sort out a full refund for you right away and make sure the subscription is properly cancelled on our end too.
Again, I'm sorry for the frustration this caused, and thank you for flagging it so we can fix it.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-02-15*

I tried to subscribe and after payment cant even sign up or access any resources.
Please refund my money. This is absolutely a scam and I want my money back.

**Developer response:** Hello!
We’re really sorry for the frustration you experienced. That’s absolutely not the experience we want anyone to have.
As soon as we saw your message, we reached out to you directly, helped resolve the login issue, and made sure you were able to access your account and resources. We also added bonus materials to your account as a small apology for the inconvenience.
If you’re still experiencing any issues at all, please reply to our support email and we’ll take care of it immediately. We’re here to help.

### 1/5 — I’d call it a scam

*2026-01-09*

I did not log into my account for a little bit because I had too much going on. I went back to try to log in & couldn’t. It said my information was incorrect. I selected “sign up” instead of sign in to see if my email was still active for the app.. it wasn’t. I emailed the help email & got no reply. I was still charged 39.99 but now I don’t even have an account? I emailed again & still haven’t received a reply. Seems strange how they remove your account but still charge your card? Hmm. Now I have to dispute the charge and close down my debit card to avoid being charged again.

**Developer response:** Thanks for sharing this — and I’m really sorry for the frustration you’ve experienced. That’s definitely not how this should feel.
A few important clarifications:
• We never remove accounts manually or without cause.
• Subscriptions are tied to the email used at sign-up, and login issues are almost always related to an email mismatch (different email, Apple Hide My Email, typo, or sign-in method).
• We reply to every support email, but we can only investigate once we know the exact email address linked to the subscription.
To help you quickly, please email us again and include:
- The email you believe you used to sign up
- A screenshot or date of the $39.99 charge
As soon as we receive that, a team member will personally look into your account and we’ll absolutely issue a refund if you were charged without access.
You do not need to cancel your card — we’re happy to resolve this directly and make it right.

Looking forward to your email so we can fix this for you.

### 2/5 — Tricky

*2026-06-25*

Signed up for a $20 class on the website and didn’t realize I was getting a $40/month subscription until I saw it on my credit card bill.
Ran into so many roadblocks trying to cancel that I had to cancel my credit card just to get out of it!

### 2/5 — Visuals are SO UGLY.

*2026-05-31*

Didn’t realize “AI-enhanced parent coach app” meant that all of the visuals would be AI-generated. I am REALLY not connecting to the hideous cartoon- and eHow- informed graphics. Moreover I’m not sure advice I’ve received so far is really worth the money I’ve paid. I am early in the journey, so I will update my review if my view on this app changes.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the honest feedback, and for staying open to updating your review as you go — that means a lot.
You're right that design is subjective, and we're actively working on improving the visuals based on input like yours.
On the advice itself — that's what matters most. We'd love to dig into where it's falling short for you, so please reach out to support@kidology.app with some specifics. We want you getting real value here, not just paying for something that isn't landing.
Thanks for giving us a shot.
