No in person classes or experiences available in California. Very misleading. ### 3/5 — Great customer service, poor screening of tutors. *2023-11-05* We initially had some good experiences with our daughter on KidPass. When it came to sign up our son we got one bad tutor after another. Some seeming like they were not educators but maybe had just worked at a daycare. It was weird. Customer service team was always very nice and helpful. Good communicators. Unfortunately we asked for a full refund because of too many failed attempts to find a tutor that was a good fit for our son. Might try again in the future if I find the patience for it. ### 2/5 — Poorly designed app *2023-04-03* When you filter and try to book a class, it lets you get all the way to “complete booking” before it tells you’re out of the booking cutoff window. Very annoying when you’re looking for something to do with your kid in the moment. The service itself isn’t that useful to us anymore because the places nearby me no longer offer in person classes. I have to travel almost an hour away to find anything my son would use. But I spent a ton of money and amassed a lot of credits and just need to use them up before I️ cancel this. Found it really convenient to use, can book or cancel an activity easily. The confirmation email was quick, and the price is comparable to other places. The selection is limited beyond the PK-1st grade. Once we dropped into the basic selection, it no longer made sense to keep the subscription. It would have been nice to be able to use the remaining credits. We feel ripped off. I don’t recommend this service for anyone with kids over 5 years old and just know you’ll probably get bored with the selections. Total rip-off! ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2023-06-26, version 1.70* I purchased 156 points with 6 dollars a points. 150 of them expired without any notice. Couldn’t contact anyone, no response. ### 1/5 — Complete scam *2023-06-16, version 1.70* Kidpass is a scam. Do NOT do business with them. We paid monthly membership thought the pandemic to support the business and accumulated more than $690 worth of credits. We wanted to use up the credits before getting more and paused our account in May. Then on June 1st, Kidpass cleared out all of our credits without notice, and refused to refund our money or reinstate our credits. Stay away! *2020-02-29, version 1.34* This app has predatorily billing practices and do not make it clear that the bill auto renews. And they will charge you at the highest tier! Stay away!! ### 1/5 — Scammy billing practices *2019-11-19, version 1.29* After getting little value from KidPass’ service, I attempted to cancel but realized the next month that their account system requires a double cancellation confirmation. Then I escalated to their support, and their support agent told me that my account would be cancelled for the next month. 7 months later I found that KidPass was still charging me for their service and refusing to reimburse me for their erroneous charges. I would not recommend anyone do business with this company. ### 1/5 — They want your credit card info before showing their services. *2019-07-07, version 1.23* They prevent you from unsubscribing in one click.
