Well designed, but after the 500 free words with richly pronounced words and definitions, the paid words are only standard robotic-sounding text-to-speech (TTS), which works well and is better than other options but not clear at purchase time and hence a let down.

**Developer response:** We appreciate the feedback! We're actually upgrading those words to the same high quality audio as the free ones right now, and it should be live in the next few days. Hope you'll give it another chance once it's released!

I love love love the no adds. My son is learning new words from this every day and doesn’t get overstimulated. It’s simple, educational and peaceful.

My daughter has Down syndrome and loves to read. Managing an actual dictionary is challenging, the pages are thin and crowded with words. This app is visually appealing and makes using a dictionary fun and accessible for her. I love that fact that it’s not too busy or overstimulating. Such a great find, especially for kiddos with special needs.

Even though this has no games or animation, my kids love it and will spend a lot of time learning new words on it. They love the pictures and that it can be read aloud. I love how calm and not overstimulating it is.

This dictionary is perfect for an elementary or middle school student. It was easy to use, had simple to understand definitions, and is accessible for varied users. Having the option to search by letter along with the tool speaking the word, the definition, and the spelling out loud for students who struggle with reading is a key feature.

This is exactly what I needed for my four year-old to start expanding her vocabulary while getting a base knowledge in spelling! I love that it’s offline so that we can use it on flights too!

This is perfect for my kiddo that gets easily overstimulated! Calm colors, soothing voices that read the words, and the best part is NO ADS!!! Also it works offline so we don’t have any meltdowns when we’re in a place without wifi. Super cute and easy to use
