## What is Kids Maths Challenges?

Kids Maths Challenges is a maths practice app for children of school age. The app is designed to progress the speed and accuracy of children's mathematical calculations. Challenge levels increase and raise the difficulty of the calculations. New elements are introduced as levels are completed.

Times tables are included as standard. As children practise their times tables, the number bonds and facts are retrieved from memory rather than being calculated each time. As children become more used to recalling their multiplication facts, they reinforce the building blocks for a wide variety of mathematical subjects and they become more efficient and confident at problem solving.

In-App Purchases are required to buy the full set of maths challenges. Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division challenges can be added. Number bonds are used to reinforce addition and subtraction facts.

Practice screens are available including hints and tips. 
Best scores and times are stored to understand improvement over time.
