### 4/5 — Problem

*2019-10-19, version 3.0*

I gave it a four star even though this is a complaint, this all in all my devices just stopped working, is just bouncing that ball saying eflash app. I have had it for years and please fix it.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2019-06-27, version 3.0*

I like it

### 4/5 — Easy picture dictionary for kids and ESL

*2018-08-22, version 3.0*

Best picture dictionary I could find. Would give it a 5 if I could add to , or edit it . Worth the cash to upgrade to the ad-free

### 3/5 — Nice framework, some poor sentence choices

*2015-01-30, version 1.5*

Nice structure and design—too bad they don’t sell you your own template of this app to fill in and make your own personal dictionary for kids. Unfortunately their nonsecular word selections only emphasize Christian terms like cross, angels ("angels surround all of us", church, prayers (“God answers prayers), so this dictionary is best for that population and pretty useless for diverse communities.

### 3/5 — Useful for ELLs

*2015-01-07, version 1.5*

It has good features for oral language development. It would be better if the sentences remained on screen when student is recording their voice. Also would be nice if the app tracked data. But I like the instant playback.

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2013-10-02, version 1.5*

My daughter loves to use it for new words. She is learning to speak and loves to use the recorder to record her own voice. She is turning in to a whiz! Thanks you guys. You helped me give my baby a big vocabulary!

### 5/5 — Perfect for kids to learn words!

*2013-09-08, version 1.5*

Every word has a corresponding picture and audio pronunciation of a sentence. it's very well pronounced by a female voice, very good for kids and beginner to learn American English. Totally enjoyed it, I give it two thumbs up!

### 2/5 — Pic on main menu is not inside

*2013-07-06, version 1.5*

The pic that is being displayed on main menu is not the one that opens when click on it.
Like if click on dog pic in main menu something else opens and it is not there in complete list of D.
It confuses the kid.

### 5/5 — Good app:)

*2013-04-26, version 1.5*

### 2/5 — Love it but crashes!

*2013-04-25, version 1.5*

Please, please, please fix it!
So annoying to be teaching your child then have to open the app all over again over and over because it crashes..

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Quite a few mistakes

*2022-06-09, version 3.0*

Queue is misspelled ‘que’, there is a crocodile pic for the word alligator, nail(hammer) is followed by nail-polish(confusing and misspelled), airplanes all have pictures of jets, orcas are not whales, circle shows a bunch of kids, etc… there are some good ones, but there are too many mistakes and ambiguous or misleading pictures.

### 1/5 — Click bait fraud

*2020-03-01, version 3.0*

The ads are right next to buttons for kids to click or fat finger

### 1/5 — Too expense without word star

*2019-08-16, version 3.0*

Weak words
Trash
Don’t spend your mony

### 1/5 — HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*2017-06-05, version 2.1*

Not what I expected. Not worth the storage it takes up. Has all of 10 definitions. Don't get it.

### 1/5 — This app should be banned!

*2016-04-09, version 1.5*

For the word 'fight' there's a picture of a military assault weapon. NOT the imagery appropriate for little kids. You guys need your heads examined.

### 1/5 — Picture dictionary

*2015-03-26, version 1.5*

Rubbish waste of money

### 1/5 — Not appropriate for children

*2015-01-12, version 1.5*

J is for Jail , the prisoner is in Jail. Are you kidding me !!
G is for Ghost , the ghost is scary.
What kind of educational app is this.

### 1/5 — Confusing

*2014-03-16, version 1.5*

The examples given for each letter can be confusing and may seem unrelated to a small child!

### 1/5 — sneaky religion

*2013-10-27, version 1.5*

Um, "angels surround everyone"? Not what I expect from an educational app. Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with angels, but that seems weird.

### 1/5 — Súper slow

*2013-04-17, version 1.5*

The application launches and takes for ever to load each later or move to the next picture...

### 5/5 — My son’s favorite app for the last month

*2019-09-11, version 3.0*

My son has autism and has used this app almost non stop when he gets screen time. He likes the pictures and I think he appreciates how simple and organized the letters are. I never leave reviews but I did because it’s an app I didn’t waste money on. Thx!

### 5/5 — On the Spectrum

*2018-11-16, version 3.0*

Great tool for my son with Autism
Helped him learn new words
Showed visual-picture
Verbal examples- how to say word in a sentence
He does not sound out words
he memorizes words as a whole
Would have to monitor him he would skip the sentence and fly through words

This was great help
In teaching him the “word”
it was fun and effective
And not frustrating to him

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2013-11-03, version 1.5*

My Dad had a stroke and is learning how to speak again. This app has been very helpful. It helps when I say the sentences with him. The pictures that go along with the sentences look great. I hope they make more apps like this.
