I thought this was supposed to be interactive PLAY. Also, swiping diagonally along the road does not advance the vehicles. You must swipe horizontally - which is counter-intuitive. App is boring after 3 minutes. *UPDATE* My original review was for three stars, but that was before I introduced this app to my son, now 18 months old. Whereas I was bored after a few minutes, he has been fascinated by it for weeks now. He is currently going through a "car phase" and City Vehicles has become his go-to app. It makes sense, as this is like a way to play with virtual, miniature die cast cars. This would work for a 2 year old that has never had screen time. All it is: The voice introduces the vehicle. Tap a part of the vehicle, the voice tells you what it is. As each one is selected, the American word is said (ie firetruck) and the player has the option of turning the headlights on and making the windscreen wipers move. On some of the vehicles you can even open a door! The graphics are ok, but the interaction is very minimal. My 2 year old liked the trucks but quickly became bored since their was little more to do but turn on the headlights and make them drive away.
