My 3 year old son was bored in 5 minutes. Thought it was like playing in a sand pile but you can't even move the machines they drive up, you touch on parts and they move he talks about it then it drives away. Waist of money!!! ### 1/5 — Terrible and crude jokes *2013-03-24* The app is pretty lame but my 2 year old loves it. When you run through the commentary on the grader Jeff makes a crude joke about his wife pushing him when he's angry. The description says you can play with the vehicles like die cast models but the manipulation a are severely limited. You can't even move the vehicles around or use their features. You can only move them forward and off the screen. In addition, the narrator/construction man doesn't give much information and his mouth just moves randomly rather than speaking. A huge upgrade could make this app worthwhile for a construction-loving child but now it seems like it should be free and I regret purchasing it. ### 1/5 — Absolute waste of money *2013-01-07, version 1.1* This is one of the most pathetic apps I have ever bought for my son. All it does is name a few parts of the vehicle when you touch it and some of the parts move up and down or doors open. That is it, that is all it does for $1.99. You can only make the shovels lift, doors open or headlights come on, etc. My son saw the coloring book part and enjoyed that more, unfortunately there are only four pictures to color and he really wanted to color a cement mixer, which wasn't one of the choices. He likes all kinds of big trucks and construction vehicles. This app is very informative and he loves how you can interact with each vehicle by touching it and making them do different things. Thanks for making a realistic vehicle app! So on that basis I give it 5 stars! ### 5/5 — Toddler Loves It *2013-01-29* My 2 year old boy loves this app. He would play with it for hours if I allowed. I let him interact with the tractors for about 30 minutes each day. His fine motor skills are improving with the iPad and he is memorizing the names and parts of the tractors.
