Not only does it allow for free form drawing and painting, but it comes with great patterns to add to your artwork, such as vegetables, butterflies, bubbles, flowers, etc. It's not intuitively obvious how to use all of the tools or to save or delete your artwork, but after reading the directions and playing with it for a while, it's very easy to use.
