I’m a big coffee drinker so I’ve been purchasing all the $4 drink deals and bogo offers (you seriously cannot find cheaper coffee in Long Beach haha.) also found a bunch of places I didn’t know about that were in the area but I hadn’t tried yet. Places like zooks which I heard a lot about but was out of my way so I finally tried it. Loved the acai bowls. Highly recommend Long Beach folks download, it’s great that this app supports small businesses in the area. Definitely will keep using and looking forward to seeing more places added, hopefully some of my favorite spots in the marina/ closer to seal beach. **Developer response:** Amazing! Most of the restaurants are on the south side of 10th street [ that’s being generous ]. The app is made for transplants with deals you’ll probably never use for food that you’ll probably never eat cause 80% of it is from restaurants that aren’t good. It’s made for a specific demographic which is fine, just not for me. **Developer response:** Hi Raucaine. Please know that ALL of these small businesses are owned by hard working people who live in Long Beach or nearby and employ many people in Long Beach. These business owners come from ALL walks of life. I can assure you of that! We are a brand new app and we only want positive experiences on our platform and we always listen to user feedback. Email the Kiiwi founder directly: Dave@kiiwi.ai Thank you! ### 1/5 — Only for rich ppl *2026-05-11, version 2.0.9* I downloaded it and there’s no deals maybe like 4$ off if you go to bars but it’s really for upper class not lower at all ### 2/5 — Offers deals that can only be redeemed when the business is closed.. *2026-04-27* Was excited to give this a try but they have a lot of kinks in the UI and deal info. Search function does not allow you to select specific type of deals (like only food), you have to go to the map and click each offer to see what it is. Not one but two of the business I looked at are offering deals that you can only redeem during the hours when the business is closed.. like between 12am - 6am when the business is only open from 10am - 10pm? One is a mistake but two different business listing hours they are closed? Almost feels like a scam. Hope they make some improvements soon. **Developer response:** Hi. We appreciate you trying Kiiwi. The search function is now resolved when you tap a category, you will see all things in that category on the second row. The hours issue that you experienced is being resolved as we speak. Everything is in LA or the valley or outside of Long Beach! Update to last review. After deleting and reinstalling the app my address finally showed up but the listing that come up aren’t what I’m looking for. For someone who goes out for lunch or dinner and entertainment the app would be rated better. It seems it wasn’t that the deals were outside of Long Beach but for some reason it was showing my address outside of Long Beach. **Developer response:** @Markj58. I don’t know that I’ve ever left a review on the App Store before but good customer service deserves to be applauded! I had an issue redeeming a deal and within minutes of reprinting the issue, Dave, the founder personally called me (at 5pm on the Friday of a holiday weekend!) to get it resolved. The issue was on my end (I had signed up twice..) and he was promptly able to resolve!
