(I’m just a customer, not a business). But, the search isn’t great. For instance if I search for “vegetables,” most of what they have does not come up. It lacks a tagging system. So to find things, you have to go over the entire catalogue, which is time-consuming. Also, there’s just one, low-res product photo and little information. For instance, I can only eat Greek yogurt because it’s low lactose. I saw Chobani, which as far as I know is Greek yogurt, but it wasn’t specified as such in the description, and I was not sure if the co. had non-Greek options. So I tried making the photo larger to see the label but it was low-res. I was able to make out the blurry shapes of the word Greek. Other food shopping apps have clearer photos and much more information. At times I don’t really know what I’m getting. I bought toilet paper but had no idea of the size of the rolls. They were actually larger than I expected. I bought a precooked meal and it was different than expected from the description in both flavor and packaging. They should list ingredients and have more photos. So it’s a bit of a guessing game for some things, and takes time to dig through because of the lack of search functionality, but the groceries are high quality and service is great, and I will keep using the app. I know someone who wants to use Cheetah but he won’t use apps and there’s no other option, not sure why there’s no Web site. I’m very impressed with how they quickly pivoted. That being said, they are always changing things (4 hour pickup to 1 hour, limited locations, random fees). But really the customer service is a large turnoff. They make me want to buy from them less and they make me feel like they don’t want me to be a customer at all. Some prices for products are really consistent (some great deals some way more expensive than grocery store) also product quality is inconsistent. Do not order from them!!! *2023-01-22, version 2.6.26* Review from a restaurant group with 5 outlets in the Bay Area. Honest experience High hope for this start up but here are my experiences with them. 1. One out of three items are mistaken which require merchants to claim, email, chat in order to get a refund. 2. Even the return items, they will charge you first then refund as credits. 3. Price is a bit higher than Sysco or resto depot. 4. Always some mistakes with their orders. 5. 4 out of 5 delivery window is always late. Cheetah plus is a scam. They never arrive on time. The quality of produce from Cheetah has plummeted. Fruit isn’t sweet, dairy spoils in less than a week, melons rot in a few days, and Cheetah doesn’t care. Costco et al guarantee their produce and will give you your money back if you don’t like it. Their prices on most items are super fair, the few items that are high I still buy because it’s convenient and they are a great company. Delivery costs are reasonable and the order minimum for free delivery is realistic. Plus, I’ve only ever had them make one mistake on my order. The rest of the time it was my error or my needs changing at the last minute and they still responded with incredible care and support. Anyone who doesn’t want to fuss with costco for their home or owns a small business or wants really high quality food should use them. I’ve always been a face to face person in all my dealings, especially when it came to shopping and customer service. The pandemic forced me in to the world of online shopping and dealing with customer service, and I have to say it was disheartening until I had to call Cheetah and was surprised to finish the call smiling. Add this to the fact that a app that seems to get easier each week, both bulk and family size offerings, GREAT PRICES, and now delivery, this is a service that can’t be beat.
