## What is Kin?

Split any bill without the awkward maths.

Kin turns a photo of a receipt into an itemised split in seconds. Snap it, let Kin read the items and the tax, then let everyone claim what they actually had. No spreadsheets, no "what did you order again?", no chasing people for weeks.

WHAT MAKES KIN DIFFERENT

Claim by the item, not by the head count.
Most apps divide the total by the number of people at the table. Kin splits by what each person actually ordered, down to individual units, so two of the four coffees can go to one person. Anything shared, like a bottle of wine or the starters, is split between whoever claimed it. Tax is apportioned item by item, automatically.

Split with people who don't have Kin.
Add someone as a guest and they are in the split straight away. No download, no sign-up, no waiting on them. Link them to a real account later and their whole history follows them across.

Repeating bills, handled.
Rent, the weekly shop, the shared subscription. Set it once with a weekly, monthly or yearly cadence and Kin recreates it on schedule, with the same people and the same split.

One balance per person, not per receipt.
