You can see what it does before we ask for anything, you only sign in once your circle is ready to save, and if you already have an account you can sign in from any step. Choosing a plan is clearer, inviting people now shows the code and link together, and editing a note or appointment works properly again. We also fixed a crash when your location was unavailable and stopped Settings reloading on its own. ### 1.8.2 — 2026-08-23 You added a task, then couldn't find it. Tasks, events, notes and appointments now show up in the shared schedule as soon as you add them. Settings could get stuck reloading for some Family+ circles. That's sorted. And if you asked Clara something then switched tabs, her answer disappeared before you got back. It waits for you now. ### 1.8.1 — 2026-08-19 A quiet update. We've made KinCarer easier to use with a screen reader, and tidied up how subscription details appear. Nothing for you to do. ### 1.8 — 2026-07-04 What's New in 1.8 We've been busy making KinCarer work better for the people who matter most to you & making KinCarer more reliable and more secure, so it's one less thing on your mind. 1) Finding your loved one's address is now much smoother, just start typing and suggestions will appear, whether you're entering a full address or a postcode. Once you've picked the right one, you can drop a pin to confirm the exact location. Works wherever you are in the world. 2) We've also made the app more resilient. If anything goes wrong unexpectedly, you'll see a clear message and a way to get back on track, no more staring at a blank screen wondering what happened. And we've added monitoring on our end so we know about any issues before you do. 3) We've tightened up how Clara handles care information, added better protections behind the scenes, and made sure only the right people have access to the right things. Nothing changes day-to-day for you, it just means your family's care details are safer. If you know families managing care — a paid carer, someone coordinating care for a parent, a local carers group — you can refer them and earn up to £25 per referral. Tap the dark card at the bottom of Settings to apply. Location permissions Smoother handling when upgrading from "While Using" to "Always" on iOS. The app now detects the change and walks you through it directly rather than asking twice. Security Tighter sign-in across the app and partner portal.
