This app not only stole the idea from 'Kind Words,' the steam game, but did it in a profoundly under-thought out way. The stickers are too overly saturated, the unregulated requests are nerve-wracking, and the need for people to continually ask for your ID in various social apps because, according to their request, they are 'looking for XYZ type of person for companionship' is extremely disconcerting. Buy the steam game that this ripoff attempted to copy instead. ### 3/5 — No replies?? *2023-02-25* This app is great but nobody not even one person has replied me with my problems and it’s been a long time so I’m not sure if I’m going to keep this app for long but I get no replies and nothing and I sent a ton of letters 😕 ### 3/5 — Cool Idea But Done Better Elsewhere *2022-10-24* Great premise but the community doesn’t seem to understand how the app works. Often, I’ll see personal information, or letters that are direct replies to other letters. I recommend the PC game Kind Words. It’s similar to this but the questions are more thought-provoking, conversational, and introspective. ### 3/5 — Can be better *2022-04-02* It’s relaxing and I enjoy reading the letters. I barely get any replies. I don’t have problem for not getting replies because writing a letter about what I feel is relieving enough. I do hope I can read more letters as I keep getting the same one/ I can’t refresh it to a new one. I also see some of the letters were cut before the end. I’m not sure with the word limit but I can’t read some the last lines except when replying. ### 3/5 — Very cute app that needs fixes. *2022-03-16* This is a great app. I love replying to people who need advice or help. Most of this app seems to be kids in middle and high school. I give them advice about school and mental health and love. A lot of these kids are using this app to find friends on Instagram and Snapchat. It's an app for kindness but there are creeps everywhere. A report button is definitely needed. Also it would be nice if we could change the font and size so we can add more into a letter. Also the music gets annoying and the only way to turn it off is to turn the volume down. ### 3/5 — Very easy to use and nice app *2022-03-01* I am really loving this app the only thing I don’t like is the music that plays that you have no control over to be able to turn it off or change it!! It’s very annoying!! So please give the user a choice to turn it off or change it!! ### 3/5 — A Kind App, But Need Fixes and More *2021-05-26* This is genuinely a good app and great for people who need to vent but don't need a big convo about it. Just to lay your burden down for a while and yell into a void. I could see there could ways it could be made better though, and QoL fixes. Like there doesn't seem to be a way to turn off the music or change it up? It's calming but I don't want to constantly turn my sound off just to use the app when I want to write. Also the < arrow goes missing after sending a reply so I can't move back in messages. There are also posts that have identifiers or abuse but no way to report? And no way to check your old messages when you don't get a reply or read your own replies. :( ### 4/5 — Not working anymore *2024-01-14* I really like this app, it’s filled with kind people and it’s a nice way to vent about your problems or help someone else with their problems. That being said the app is no longer working, every time I go on the app it says connection failed. This has been happening for a couple of months now and by now I’ve thought you guys would’ve fixed the problem but I’m thinking this is due to the software not being updated? Though im not sure if it’s just a problem on my end. Anyways I hope you guys read this review and fix the problem. [Suggestion]: It would be nice if you guys inputted a way for us to send a letter back to someone who’s responded to our letters. It makes things more convenient especially when letters are cut short. I would also like to suggest longer letters if possible?
