It seems when I view the global comments they are usually the same people and the daily gratitude can sometimes be the same question, this makes it slightly boring because I like having new questions and looking at peoples answers for them ### 2/5 — The game is great but the devs have changed their mind on supporting mental health *2026-06-08, version 2.11.0* I love the game and all it represents. The devs, however, have changed their tune and no longer communicate with their users. The community they relied on to help grow their app and who their audience was is apparently non-existent now. They canceled the Kickstarter and haven’t issued refunds to many people after 9 months. It’s sad to see a great team go downhill. They would have many more supporters for their new project if they treated their existing users right. ### 3/5 — Good game but currently buggy *2026-05-31, version 2.11.0* A fun little way to do a practice self care. The aesthetic of the game is awesome. I have experienced issues with the latest update though. When Sam asks me to click the map icon to see what has changed, I am unable to tap both the map nor anything else. I can only open the game, get to that point and then close the game again. I have had this issue for a few months now. I do enjoy this app and hopefully this issue can be addressed soon as currently the game is unplayable for me. Update. Had to reinstall the app which started me completely over. Reset all my bones and past journal entry’s. If you want more plants you have to pay real money or use social media of which i don’t have for mental health reasons. Never reached back out after I lost all the items I bought from the shop and a decorated pot (with my paid for treats) so money wasted. The game is really cool but you’ll have no help if you run into any problems with it. ### 4/5 — Interesting *2025-12-26, version 2.11.0* I got this app yesterday and tried watering my plant with enriched water so now that it’s taking me through the tutorial I have a full terrarium and what it wants me to click on isn’t available to touch because it’s behind the message that my terrarium is full so I can’t do anything at all now, can’t break away from the tutorial seeing as I’ve already filled several terrariums yesterday while figuring out what to do beyond watering a plant for 5 seconds and then nothing else to do in the app from what I could tell. Don’t know what to do now since the app won’t let me do anything else and what it wants isn’t possible because I already did it several times already and have several terrariums filled with emotions I picked. What do I do?!?! Can’t give full stars to a game that’s become unplayable in less then 24 hours ### 4/5 — Love playing the game, but recently had a glitch *2025-11-21, version 2.11.0* I play the game daily and it’s something I really enjoy, so I’ve been disappointed recently that there’s been a glitch. Ever since the update where the plant is now watered in the room, the plant quite often doesn’t register the watering and stays thirsty, even after multiple waterings. I wrote to the customer service thru the app and on their Instagram page and no response - I haven’t used the app again because I was hoping they could restore my earnings - it’s frustrating and disappointing because I had built every room and all mushroom people and lots of accessories - it’s a great app and great tool for mental health etc but please help your customers ### 2/5 — Empty and pricy *2025-09-12, version 2.9.3* A friend recommended this game to me, I think they then stopped playing not long after. I do want to start by saying that I really appreciate the details of including the artists who made certain assets and linking straight to their socials/websites. I wish more apps would do this. It’s buggy, quite empty, lacking polish. The app seems to focus on customisation and frequent check ins on your mental health. Unfortunately, the rate at which you earn your in game currency is shockingly slow, resulting in a rather sad and empty looking space. I feel so disheartened that this is another app aimed at looking after your health that basically all but requires you to spend real life money. Oh and you can only grow one plant at a time?! It’s odd. You also have to use currency to decorate your plant pot. The outlines around all the furniture when placing are pixel-y and look glitchy. Thankfully the mental health activities aren’t paywalled but they are tied behind levelling up (which is a tad slow but much closer to a good pace). I do wish I could turn some things off though. Every day you get sent a benal affirmation. As a someone with a chronic condition, nothing winds me up more than being sent some meaningless “inspirational” phrase that is not at all thought out and tailored to my situation. I am aware that this is entirely a me thing. In short, it’s an okay way to check in on your mental health. I just wouldn’t call it “cosy” when customisation is so paywalled yet the app lacks the level of polish I expect that would make me part with my money. ### 3/5 — Going downhill *2025-08-23, version 2.9.3* I’ve been playing this game since close to the beginning. I love plants, personally I don’t really care about the self help stuff, that’s not my thing. But it was a cute little game, worked my way up with dog bones to buy everything I could, and when they changed everything from spending real money to being able to buy it with dog treats, that was amazing. But of course, it came with the cost (like every app out there) of ADS ADS ADS. Some apps have really short, easy to get through ads. This app has ads that make you sit through maybe 30 seconds, then you click the tiny hard-to-see button, then it brings up the app page, you click done, then you have to wait so many more seconds until you click the last button and it’s all done. Really ridiculous. And now for a while it seems like maybe the app people are putting all their efforts and attention into their kickstarter and not this game. I’ve been trying to message in their chat about issues I’m having in the shop, and no one messages me back now. Repeat messages, no reply’s. The featured pot doesn’t update anymore when it’s supposed to, and it takes days, or more than a week, if it ever even does update. When freebies are offered in the shop, it now says I already own them, when I don’t. And I used to be able to get them even if I did already own them, and then I’d have more than one. But no more. It’d be great if these people cared about messaging the players back, but I feel like I’ve gotten the cold shoulder. Not that I’m against it but shouldn’t you finish the one you have before starting another project? We all supported you, put money into this game and enjoyed it just for you to leave without even finishing it. We have like one more room to open up and more plant species. I would rather you just be honest and say, “we got bored and want to go other things,” instead of crushing people ESPECIALLY your backers on Kickstarter who got you past your goal! What kind of developer just up and leaves a fully funded project like that and say they don’t have the funds when they clearly do??? ### 1/5 — Developer abandoned game *2025-12-14, version 2.11.0* I am super bummed that the developer announced they were abandoning the game and would no longer update it or address any issues. I really enjoyed this game but since they abandoned it, I’ve noticed lots of glitches and they said that there is no way they can help anyone further as they are no longer providing any updates or service for the game. ### 1/5 — Explicit rape ad in this game - DO NOT DOWNLOAD. NOT FOR KIDS *2025-09-26, version 2.10.0* I’m sorry to have to repeat this but the ad after watering the plant had full on, explicit rape fantasy text, that talked about men coming to the village and “ripping the vaginas” of the girls of the village. (That’s not paraphrasing.) It was written from the perspective of a teen girl getting ready for them to arrive for her too 🤢 I was too slow to screenshot the worst bits cos I was honestly in shock! It scrolled automatically too & the reward wasn’t granted til it said A LOT. I have deleted this. You should too. Please don’t download it. This is the only game with ads I’ve let my kids play because it seemed harmless and they liked watering the plants. It’s rated 4+. I’ve been really strict otherwise and said no to other games with ads because I’ve seen inappropriate ones (please check or err on the side of caution, the ads can be really violent or explicit like this). So now I’m going back to “if it’s free and paid for with ads - then no”. Because they are completely unregulated and you can get AI written slop like this. Do better kinder world. You accused them of "copying" Quilliam even though there was NO similarities between them other than both being hedgehogs. Genuinely hope y'all get a taste of your own medicine and end up getting threatened by a bigger company that'd run you to the ground and have to back off because of not having enough money. I hope they, just like you, have no actual legal ground to stand on, either. The backup was faulty and the only option I had was to delete the app. I thought it was connected to my account but after it stopped working there would have been no way for me to connect it. I downloaded it and immediately fell in love with it. This app isn’t like other apps where it constantly has pop-up ads or you need to buy a subscription to use more than one service. Yes, there are in-game purchases, but the concept of the game is essentially free. Its main focus/target is to help people and you can see that clearly in the app’s makeup. You can practice self-kindness activities and write encouraging notes to other players. I have saved every single one of the notes I’ve received. This app has truly impacted my life for the better and they did it one small step at a time. I 10/10 recommend this app to anyone (and I have). I feel that I am always able to just open the app and relieve the daily pressures of life for a little while as I water my plants and practice dew breathing. My favorite part of the game is the emotion jar, it’s super helpful to let me sit and recognize my feelings and lets me walk through them.
