Instead of having to click back to the main gallery to see the next one? ### 3/5 — Great app, can use updates *2026-03-22, version 7.0.5* This app is very helpful, but I wish there was a way you can choose what notifications you get to your devices. Because my child is less than a year, it’s annoying to get a notification about a “new toilet entry” being recorded. Pros to Kindercare vs others: -it’s easy to let grandparents see photos -all the daily details are easy to see in one place for both kids Negative vs others: -the only person that can respond to messages is my director. I hate that I cannot just quickly message my child’s teacher and get a response. -the photos on the main page are too tiny- I had to upload a letter as an image because we couldn’t tell who was who ### 3/5 — Time stamps *2024-10-30, version 6.1.11* It would be nice to see what time an event or something is posted to the account with a time stamp. As a necessity to the parents that use this app. That would be very very helpful. Also when the KinderCare app pops up on my phone for notifications, it should say what the notification is for. Ie need clothes or diapers wipes. Thank you ### 2/5 — Please fix the photos… *2023-11-22, version 5.6.0* Before a recent update I would have given the app 5 stars - who made the decision that you can no longer swipe up/down to scroll through photos, but now you have to select each individual picture from a gallery if you want to see the full image? ### 3/5 — Goes back “checked out” *2023-11-03, version 5.6.0* Whenever I click on any new notifications, whether it’s an entry for food, potty, or photo- it shows me that my child has “checked out” and the daily report is ready to viewed (which was yesterday’s report that I’ve already viewed). have to close the app and open again to view most recent updates. Basically I keep thinking my child has been checked out whenever it opens up from clicking on the notification. Aside from that, I really appreciate the app providing me a look into my child’s daily schedule. This will help prepare for the evening. This is very inconvenient. We need to see almost as soon as staff finished, not till the end 2) can we have an option to see what happened in the day by time (sort by time - see from morning instead of reverse ) I messaged app developers , but no feedback from them. ### 4/5 — Love daily pictures & reports! *2022-11-21, version 4.5.1* I love that our daycare center uses this app. Seeing daily pictures and video of my child makes me happy! Suggestion for an added feature is the ability to download entire photo albums with the click of a button. Currently I save phagocyte photos each month to an album for that month. But If I want to save those photos to my phone, I have to click on each one and download individually. It would be really nice if I could just download the album. ### 1/5 — No alerts on iPad or iPhone *2022-10-28, version 4.5.1* Despite having everything set correctly on FOUR different devices (2 iPhones and 2 iPads), we have never received even a single pop-up alert when updates/photos/etc have been posted. I’ve reached out to support but it has been horrendous and unhelpful in every single way. I love seeing the photos and getting updates about my kids during the day. Most parents would benefit from knowing how their child’s schedule is going through the day so we can better plan our evenings and pickups. If the app is able to show diapers changes in real time, I don’t understand why it doesn’t provide that for meals and sleep- the two things that actually effect how a family’s evening will go. In addition, as a breast feeding mom, it is important for me to be able to see when my baby last ate (before picking her up) so I can adjust my pumping schedule accordingly at work. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Check in and check out times are missing *2026-08-14, version 7.1.1* I must have recently updated the app after getting my phone replaced and my sons check outs no longer showing up at all. Check ins show up but no timestamp. This seems like a huge safety issue especially for parents that split care. Also when attempting to download images and videos, you now have to CLICK on the image and videos instead of having a download button. Then what makes it worse, the buttons to comment, share, add to album and download are cut off by the bottom menu. Why did you try and “fix” what wasn’t broken. Lastly, the app said my password was exposed in a data leak elsewhere. I only use my password with Kindercare for security reasons. It turns out 4 days ago, a data breach happened at a California Daycare. My assumption is it was a kindercare employee because I don’t use the password anywhere but Kindercare. ### 1/5 — Technical difficulties *2025-10-20, version 6.1.21* Unable to see how both of my children are doing because of technical difficulties ### 1/5 — Unable to access account *2025-08-17, version 6.1.16* I am able to access my account online but not through the app. I tried to reset my password through the app and it didn’t send anything to my email. ### 1/5 — Locked out *2025-06-10, version 6.1.16* The app worked great until one day I tried to log in and it just tells me “there was a problem logging you in. Please try again”. No matter what I did it doesn’t work. I already signed out and deleted the app, but the same thing is happening. Can I have assistance with this matter?! ### 1/5 — I AM MAD *2024-06-25, version 6.1.9* Hi, I’m an 11 year old girl who goes to kindercare, and after it everyday, i break out in tears. It is the worst place ever, and the people there are mean and strict. I’ve been having nightmares every night about the things that happen there, and I never get time to play with my friends after school and during the summer. Been using it from the beginning. I like the new supplies reminder BUT if I receive a request on Friday the reminder the following morning displays on Saturday. Specially Mr. Jocomo, Ms Toby, Maribel, Malissa, Salem basically all the teachers at mill creek kindercare are awesome. They put sincere efforts in making your kiddo feel comfortable and looks after them so well. We are seeing tremendous growth in our toddler girl since the day she started.
