## What is Kindred?

Kindred is a calmer to-do app that helps you focus on the tasks you truly mean to finish.

Traditional to-do lists can become endless, making it easy to feel guilty about everything left undone. Kindred takes a gentler approach. Instead of asking you to manage an overwhelming list, it helps you choose your promises: the small set of tasks that matter most today. As you show up for your promises, your bond with your companion grows. When you lose focus or leave promises unfinished, Kindred gently reflects that too.

*Bug fix*:
Fixed an issue where a companion’s rest or sleep duration could still appear to be running after returning to the app, even though the rest or sleep period had already finished. The app now refreshes this state correctly when reopened or brought back into focus.
