But the first thing I noticed which made me realize this wasn’t for me, you have to PaY to zoom in..??? Pay to zoom in, it’s stupid but I absolutely understand you have to make money somehow. However maybe use another tactic for making money or making the “pro” cost have other features and give the zoom in feature for the free version. I am really interested in your app. As far as I’ve tested it, it’s really good. However, here are the features I request in order to make it better. First of all, I would like to be able to zoom in and out, while also being able to rotate the screen. This is so that I am able to make my animations far more detailed, and work with the smaller brush sizes more efficiently. On another note, I’d be glad to have the ability to change my frame rate. That way, the animators can choose how smooth they want their animations to be. My final request is that you could add the option to change the canvas ratio. Most animations are animated in the 16:9 ratio, others with different variations. I hope I could see these features within the next update! **Developer response:** “Next update” might be a bit generous (Kineo/Cocoatype is a single-person endeavor), but most of these things are on my radar. It is so hard to draw the same thing over and over again exactly the same, especially with your finger. It also has a glitch in which it will not draw freely and curves become straight lines, which does effect the final outcome. They also need more than 9 colors and an eraser! Once these get changed or fixed, 5 stars. But till then it's not very good... ### 2/5 — Really limited *2010-08-27* It's a basic animation app nothing more. Even novices will be begging for more features- like the ability to copy over the last frame and adjust the framerate. When I saw that there wasn’t a feature to do that, I immediately knew I couldn’t use this app. Not just that, but when I wanted to change the frames per second, I couldn’t find it. I couldn’t even find a settings bar. Another thing that bugged me was the onion skin. I feel it’s best to either make the onion skinS a different color, this way I can’t get my frames mixed up. Also, there should be a setting for turning on and off the onion skin. Another suggestion is that I couldn’t find the “layers” for sketching and such. One last thing was the tools, yes, I like the tool BAR but I feel that there should be more (in my opinion). I don’t hate this app, just needs some improvement!! I'm trying to keep this app fairly simple (as you say, good for starters), so adding features is done fairly slowly and deliberately. Thanks again! —Geoff ### 1/5 — Way too long without improvement *2011-05-08, version 1.3* I bought this app when it first arrived and found it to be fun but, as others have said, the enjoyment was very limited due to the inability to save and export the animations. Now more than a year later nothing has been done improve these TERMINAL flaws. Other than for killing time for a few moments this is a worthless application. A fill button would be nice because sometimes it’s difficult to get an object filled without messing up. Another button to add is if you could have less onion skin layers because I sometimes can’t figure out which one was the previous layer, so that would be very helpful.
