### 3/5 — Sends alerts 24/7

*2020-06-05, version 6.0.13*

I selected only send alerts when I’m using app, by app constantly ask me to change it to “always” in setting! I don’t want it always !!! Only when I use it, and STOP asking me to change it !!!

### 3/5 — Lifeline is ok

*2018-09-08, version 5.0.13*

The app is good but the problem with it is that the siren when your testing it is freaky loud I dropped my phone because of it

### 1/5 — No option not to share the app

*2018-07-11, version 5.0.13*

I signed up and opted not to share the app with any contacts—however, it forced me to select at least 6 emergency contacts before I could proceed. The app immediately contacted all 6 people to let them know I had downloaded LifeLine and appointed them as emergency contacts, prompting 6 panicked calls/texts/emails asking if I was okay or if this was spam. Deleted the app right away, waste of 10 minutes.

### 1/5 — Downloaded due to free 795 day membership

*2018-02-08, version 5.0.10*

I’m a guy and just started in real estate so odds likely are less slim that I will need the assistance of this app. I downloaded it because it was free from an association. However, as part of using the app it asked me to provide 6 emergency contacts in my phone book.
Well as I’m now finding out these 6 emergency contacts have been contacted by life line in an effort to market their app. If I had know upfront and clearly that was the purpose I never would have downloaded the app. In fact, because I didn’t know that my contacts would be notified, my contacts text me upon receiving notice from life line and asked me if the app was spam!
In a way I feel deceived into providing those contacts to the app. I hope if I delete the app that a message will be sent to my contacts that I deleted the app and they won’t be bothered by solicitation of the app. I’m wondering legally if the app should have been upfront as to why they needed the contact numbers? The introduction video did not indicate why those numbers were needed. It’s a form of misrepresentation.
As a result, I’ve contacted my dear friends and family to advise them of my mistake of providing there numbers to life line. I will be deleting the app on the same day that I downloaded the app. Thanks life line for misrepresenting me and your app.

### 4/5 — Pin shows on screen

*2017-12-13, version 5.0.10*

I don’t like the fact that the pin shows on the screen. I don’t need a reminder of my pin. Other than that, I love the app.

### 5/5 — Premium Safety App- Brilliant idea!

*2017-03-11, version 5.0.9*

Lifeline is an easy to use security app that ensures the safety of my family on a daily basis. I am a single mom with 2 small children, living in a questionable area of the city. My parking spot? A manual pad lock accessed from a dark scary alley.. you can imagine my concern! With Lifeline Response I can rest assure that we are protected for the longest 2 minutes of my life it takes to unlock the gate move it aside, pull my car in and relock it, usually in the pitch dark when really anything could ensue. Thanks you for your ongoing protection Lifeline!

### 5/5 — Finally a pro grade safety app

*2017-03-11, version 5.0.9*

Easy to use interface and more features than I thought. Hope I never have to use it's alert but glad I have it in case of an emergency. Especially like the fact it's tied into a real call center.

### 5/5 — Awesome!

Got this for my daughter who is going to college it is awesome I feel so much better knowing she has this!!! Love it!!!

### 5/5 — Wonderful app

### 5/5 — Mrs

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Scam app, beware enterprise customers

*2023-02-03, version 7.0.4*

Terrible and unprofessional leadership. Not good

### 1/5 — Too expensive

*2022-09-30, version 7.0.4*

I’ve had this app for years but the price has increased.

### 1/5 — lame

*2022-06-17, version 7.0.4*

like the “leadership”

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2022-01-25, version 7.0.2*

Very behind the times.

### 1/5 — Price!

*2021-07-27*

Had this app for years and was charged £6.99 a year, it’s not £500! Ridiculous price and far too expensive

### 1/5 — Offensive Commenta

*2020-08-17, version 6.1.0*

I thought this was a professional, moderated app. As it turns out, any foul mouthed, opinionated simpleton can type comments on notices for unfiltered distribution to users. Unacceptable. Already deleted this app.

### 1/5 — This app amplifies your co-worker’s problems.

*2020-05-13, version 6.0.11*

Because this app lets users post alerts freely, I got spammed by a co-worker’s vile political opinions and uninstalled.

This app won’t work without human moderators to sort out real emergencies from a user’s mental problems.

### 1/5 — Forced Install

*2020-04-25*

Forced to install this app through my real estate board, along with forced notifications and forced “always on” location services with no apparent way to unsubscribe. Despite assurance location isn’t tracked, I don’t appreciate having to have an app I don’t use or want installed on my phone, sending me notifications and tracking my location.

### 1/5 — Good idea, poor execution

*2020-03-12, version 6.0.9*

The constant location tracking completely drains my battery. If my phone is dead, the app won’t work. If I turn the constant location tracking off so my phone will work through the day, the app is unable to do its job so I’m sure you can see how this doesn’t really work out. It’s a great idea, but needs some serious improvements to actually function.

### 1/5 — Sets alarm off by itself!

*2019-02-22, version 5.0.13*

This app has problems. It has triggered alerts 3 times when I wasn’t even in the room. I didn’t even know it triggered until the police showed up at my door. If it happens again, I am deleting the app and cancelling my subscription.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love the personal safety modes

*2022-01-26, version 7.0.2*

Thumb mode and Timer Mode are great tools when feeling threatened in any way. It’s also great to have all my company information in one place. It’s the best tool to share suspicious things to security. Nice tool to keep on my phone.

### 5/5 — Pin shows on screen

*2017-06-01, version 5.0.10*

I want to give it five stars . The disarm pin is showing on the phone and the watch. That's pretty scary and doesn't help at all if I am in trouble and he has half a brain he will see that :(
Come on guys ....fix this. I just signed back up for a month and noticed that had changed.
Updated to 5 stars because developer explained why. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Love the app

*2017-03-20, version 5.0.9*

Easy to use & practical.

### 5/5 — Fantastic safety app!

*2017-03-20, version 5.0.9*

Easy to use interface and the concept is great! Can never be too safe and having this gives me peace of mind throughout my daily life. Highly recommend!!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2017-03-18, version 5.0.9*

If your looking for a very reliable inexpensive safety feature that really works. I am disabled and I feel like I have a guardian angel to watch over me. Heck even in test mode it scared folks away! Please Please! Give it a try.

### 5/5 — Feeling safe

*2017-03-15, version 5.0.9*

This is a very easy to use app which gives me the peace of mind that if something happens to me or my family, first responders will be able to locate me immediately. Love this app.

### 5/5 — Simple and effective

*2017-03-15, version 5.0.9*

Such a simple concept that provides peace of mind - especially as a parent.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2017-03-15, version 5.0.9*

I haven't needed to call the police with it yet, but it makes me feel better having it on my phone

### 5/5 — Clever, Easy & Beautiful Peace of Mind

*2017-03-15, version 5.0.9*

This is such a good idea. The app is very well done and has worked dependably. When you're attacked, you can't dial 911 and you can't describe what you look like or your location. LifeLine does all of that the moment it realizes you're unable to. PLUS the beautiful design and system makes it surprisingly fun and rewarding to use. I also like the map feature — I stay really active and live in a city and I like that I can check up on an area before going out. I'm way less nervous about exploring on my own (although I still try to go with a friend). It feels good to report stuff I notice too. It's an app that helps us take better care of ourselves and each other. That's pretty awesome.

### 5/5 — Dad

*2017-03-12, version 5.0.9*

Just what I'm looking for. I bought the family plan for this app for my 4 kids that went away to school
