Kinetiform is doodling reimagined. It is a canvas with a mind of its own. Draw abstract shapes that automatically connect and fill with randomly generated patterns. Use Auto Draw to sit back and watch as the app creates a unique random composition right before your eyes. Watch as your drawing is tumbled and twisted through beautiful kaleidoscopic animations.

Pros: intuitive, relaxing, easy to understand. This is an app meant for artistic experimentation rather than a fixed outcome. The features are very playful, and this app is incredibly generous with the features It allows you to have for free. There’s a lot of customization and I feel if you enjoy the free version you will also enjoy the premium! It’s not often I come across the app that has such a genuine energy. It definitely comes across as a passion project rather than another way to milk money via subscriptions. Overall this app deserves more attention some beautiful works of art could be created from this app. Also no ads in app which is awesome.

Critiques/feedback: not many, the app comes as is, you know exactly what you’re getting into when you open this beautiful lightweight app! Many of the issues I had could easily be fixed with the settings provided. Only critiques I have are the pop ups. If you don’t say never show again they pop up everytime you use a tool would be better if the reminder only popped up once per session or less repetitively (Which you can manually turn off entirely In the settings so it’s more of a preference i have not a flaw with the app) and the last thing is I didn’t see any settings available but there’s no option to set canvas size or dpi if you plan to use the art you make for prints or other projects after exporting. However this app seems more like it’s meant for the fun of creation itself! But if love to see an option to make higher resolution if possible.

Overall this app is wonderful I definitely recommend it. I hope this developer gets more attention an absolute hidden gem I must say! I’ll have to try their other apps on the future.

Honestly one of the best doodling apps I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.
Not only are the results cool and engaging but actual a mind bending experience to work with. Never disappointed with the results.

Truly the only digital product that has made me rethink the utility or even potential of algorithms in art. It feels like it has unlimited potential and just enough instruction so you can take off running. Excellent UI balance of design etc.My only ask would be the removal of the menu bar icon for video recording - but that is just a dream, not a complaint. 
I think trying to predict and understand some of the geometry actually stretches your brain- it feels oddly challenging in a way I appreciate.

the trash can doesn’t work after a while, so i can’t reset the canvas. even quitting the app, it doesn’t clear :( but the app itself is really fun besides that

mit einem extrem störenden Bug auf dem iPhone (auf dem iPad läuft die App einwandfrei). Sobald man nach einmaligem Zeichnen ein neues Bild starten möchte, verwandelt sich der Hintergrund in ein Glitch artiges Muster. Heißt, man bekommt keinen einfarbigen, musterlosen Hintergrund mehr und zeichnet von nun an immer auf einem geglitchten Hintergrund. Das sieht leider alles andere als schön aus. Wenn dieser Bug behoben wird, gibt es wieder die volle Anzahl an Sternen, denn ansonsten ist diese App wirklich sehr gut!
