### 4/5 — Equip Menu Bug

*2021-06-26*

Good game. Found a bug. On the equip menu can’t exit the menu when I clicked the back arrow. Using iPad Air 4 latest iOS version

### 4/5 — Good but second row icons not working

*2019-11-04, version 1.2.12*

Been playing for a while but second row (bottom row) icons (while equipping or buying in a shop not working. I wanted to buy the increase loot perk but because the item is situated at the bottom row, it will not respond when you click on it. Top row also not responding well but sometimes after touching it 3 or 4 times it will work. Pity I could not buy those items located in the bottom row.

### 4/5 — Addictive!

*2017-07-12, version 1.2.1*

Have just downloaded, but pretty addicted so far!

### 5/5 — Fun game

*2017-03-24, version 1.2.1*

Fun game to kill some time.

### 5/5 — Great!

*2016-11-20*

This is one of the best games on the AppStore. I absolutely love the cool character designs, the slot-based rpg gameplay, the comic book style, and this game had to have had such a large amount of work put into it. This is extremely innovative and creative. I stayed up until four in the morning playing it because it was so fun and addictive! This deserves more attention! It's a very high quality game. I recommend it.

### 5/5 — Great game

*2016-10-14, version 1.2.1*

I really enjoy this game ... arpg in slot form really cool. Needs a bit more diverse loot but all in all great.

### 5/5 — Vastly entertaining

*2016-09-24, version 1.2.1*

Takes all that was good about the first game and improves on it drastically. Lots of fun.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2016-04-23, version 1.2.1*

### 5/5 — Original game

*2016-02-10*

Love the gameplay here, no IAPs and the gameplay is fresh and original. Has an RPG feel to it. Love to see this developer keep putting out high quality apps.

### 5/5 — Sequel even better!!

*2015-12-25*

Most sequels don't live up to expectations but this is even better than the first!!

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2015-12-19, version 1.2.1*

A great balance of skill and luck, this game itches the gambling itch with a fantastic concept with wonderful implementation. Worth the cost.

### 5/5 — Super fun mashup

### 5/5 — Best of the best slot hybrids!!

*2015-07-17, version 1.2.1*

July 2015, Update: After over a year: still going strong, as described below:

These wonderful Developers could give valuable lessons to the rest on how to craft an excellent, best of casino genre game (v.s. The evil pods of Freemium and IAP Developer greed-based and "spendy" experiences). Plus, with KC2, they even bested their exemplary King Cashing 1. Unlike most slots, this one doesn't eventually bore a player into a snooze...

My highest compliments to these code artists (and I have reviewed many apps on iTunes during the past five years). For the first time, if I could give an app 6 stars, this would be it; 'nuff said.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Depends

*2019-11-21, version 1.2.13*

If you like grinding the same levels many times over, you might like this. If you don’t, don’t waste your time downloading this.

### 1/5 — STUPID

*2014-02-24, version 1.2.1*

I spent about 3 minutes with this……and deleted it. ZERO stars

### 2/5 — They killed King Cashing

*2023-02-11, version 1.2.34*

This is a good game, but you can’t buy it. You can only pay for a subscription to play the full version which is yet another example of GameClub and companies like it failing to understand that customers don’t start out as money-shovelling loyalists that want every game associated with your name. You have to EARN that. You’ll never earn that for me when you don’t even give your games an individual asking price.

Furthermore, despite all the confidence in their claims that they have “improved upon the original in every way”, they have delisted the original version which I actually OWNED and could play without a subscription. Seems to me like you know the original with its vastly superior distribution model could be a threat to the layers of greed surrounding the sequel.

I’ve had enough of subscriptions, and I really like this game and want to own it, but I can’t give it a higher rating in good conscience because this is exactly the direction I hate to see the industry heading in.

You guys killed one of my favourite games.

### 2/5 — Surprised at all the 5 star reviews

*2016-02-14, version 1.2.1*

I suppose it's not awful, but it's nowhere near as good as all the gushing 5 star reviews would suggest, in my opinion. My main criticisms are that gameplay quickly becomes boring and repetitive. Also I don't feel the developer has got the balance of the game right, as once you have advanced some way into the game it requires hours and hours of grindingly repetitive gameplay to progress.

Clearly this is fine for some others, but not for me. Wasted my money. Deleted.

### 2/5 — Sequel not as good

*2013-03-06, version 1.0.1*

I am probably the only one who thinks this but I thought the original King Cashing was so much better! I much preferred playing as me (King Cashing) against normal RPG fantasy enemies (skeletons, slime, etc). Here you play as various zombies against humans. That wasn't for me. Also very strange weapons - using a bride as a weapon?! Still, I love supporting indies. Maybe KC3 will be better!

### 3/5 — Missed the mark

*2020-02-28, version 1.2.14*

I enjoy the game overall, sort of a fun twist on rpgs, though I find it relies far too much on luck to be forcing out so much grinding around the second to last book. The first King Cashing is possibly my favourite game on mobile, and this was too much of a cash in on the trends of its time, being Zombies and somewhat complex rpgs. I’d do anything the get the original back, let’s hope they do it.

### 3/5 — Game is worse after art changes update

*2019-11-04*

The game has been altered in some ways that make it worse than it was when it was originally released.

**Developer response:** Hello!

We have released an update that should fix all the outstanding issues with King Cashing 2. Please reach out if you find any other issues - help@gameclub.io.

Thanks for playing!

### 3/5 — Fun mechanics, disappointing setting

*2013-05-11, version 1.1.1*

After the fantasy theme of the original, playing evil zombies in this version feels unpleasant as you fight innocent people rather than monsters. The mechanics have been improved over the original and play well, but setting is a big let down for me. It could have been a lot more fun with a fantasy theme.

### 3/5 — Ok

*2013-03-23, version 1.0.1*

Dungeon plunder does the slot machine/RPG combo in a much better way IMO though.

### 3/5 — mindless fun

*2013-03-17, version 1.0.1*

This is NOT worth three bucks - wait for a 99 cent sale. There's no real strategy here.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Still runs like a dream on iPhone 13 in 2025

*2025-03-24*

What a great coding job. Awesome content with some necessary grind, hilarious art and fun immersive text. The sound effects are highly memorable too.

### 5/5 — Updated review and updated attitude

*2020-12-02*

I was a huge fan of this and other games in this collection, but was bummed out to see games I had previously bought were in a subscription service. It’s not super clear, but snooping in the settings of the game you are able to redownload your original purchase, so I appreciate the company honoring those previous supporters. 5 stars for honest practices!

### 5/5 — Excellent game, but a question for “Gamehub”

*2019-12-15*

First off, I enjoy the heck out of this game. If you ha e a Gamehub subscription, this should definitely be in your collection.

Having said that, I have a question for Gamehub. I purchased this game upon its initial release. If I upgrade the app now, will I be able to play my purchased game without being forced into you’re subscription service, or will I be forced to pay to play an app I have already bought? Thank you.

**Developer response:** Absolutely — if you've bought it it's yours. Each title is free to download and play (without a subscription) if you've previously bought it on the past through the App Store. Email us at support@gameclub.io if you run into any issues and we'll help you out.

### 5/5 — Is this gam updated?

*2019-10-27, version 1.2.12*

It is very interesting that this game is optimised for IOS13 and I love it.

### 5/5 — Surprisingly fun!

*2019-10-25, version 1.3.1*

If you like RPG, you’ll like this

### 5/5 — 64 bit

*2019-01-25, version 1.2.1*

Please update for 64 bit. I miss playing this

### 5/5 — Still perfect.

*2018-04-17*

There are many apps produced that just slack off - sound, graphics, crashing, little unfinished areas, bugs. Not here. I put my heart and soul into an app and it made me $10 after hundreds of hours. I hope the lack of updates here isn't for that reason, this should be featured on App Store again. This is one of the two reasons I refuse to update to iOS 11.

### 5/5 — Plz update 11.0

*2017-12-02, version 1.2.1*

Great game! Just need update so I can play again

### 5/5 — Very good!

*2017-06-16, version 1.2.1*

Liked the first, love this one even more

### 5/5 — Great game!

*2017-06-01*

I always find myself playing this game out of the hundreds of apps I have purchased. The slot mechanic combined with an rpg feel is a great feature, that keeps you trying all sorts of combinations. The battles are fast which is good if you only have a few minutes to play. The comic book story board is very entertaining and I can honestly say this is an excellent value for just $2.99. I hope more chapters are added soon, along with new items, so support these guys and buy the game!
