Where it falls short is this. When I load the files and use them immediately, it works well. However, if I log off or just close the app, the files unload and I then have to reload again the next time I want to see them. This program is interactive, intuitive and most importantly makes learning fun. The jokes are corny. The instructors are relatable. The app did nothing to prepare me for the written test. I went back to make sure I was taking the right test because the questions on the test prep were nowhere close to what the questions were on the actual written test. I contacted them and they offered to give me a discount on a future course. Seriously?!? They also said that the questions on the FAA exam aren’t released anymore… If that’s the case, then, how are you offering a Test Prep?? What are you prep? What are you prepping people for?? If you don’t have any idea what’s on the test then you can’t really prep people to take it. Kings is nothing but a money grab. I use them for my private, so I figured I’d try them for my commercial. I’ll never use another king course again and I’m sure to tell everybody I talk to not to use their garbage either. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2024-03-05, version 4.4* I’m doing the 107 corse my issues are with the app and the instruction from kings. There has to better options out there. Instructions recorded in probably 1983. Super small text that you can’t enlarge to read. Weather section is the worst. If you try to follow along and really try to understand how the read the weather report the print to super super small. When you go from one page to the next some times it doesn’t load at all. All you see is a blank white page. This app might of been okay on a iPhone about 15 years ago. If you want some SLEEP go ahead and watch these videos. ### 1/5 — King privet pilot *2023-10-05, version 4.2* The male instructor is way too vague. He does not explain things well at all. He needs to approach this really as learning fly from scratch. He assumes you know way more than you do as a new pilot. I need to see how I can get my money back and look into another course. I could see where he might do well teaching pilots that are already licensed. I’ve watched different schools on YouTube, and read all of their web pages & reviews. Some people said Kings ground was dated and a bit more expensive. I decided to purchase Kings over the others because of their proven history. I’m glad I chose kings. The videos have some humor but are done well, and it makes the learning enjoyable. The videos are not over done and off track, which makes it easier for me to retain the information. I recommend kings to anyone. I had 3 individuals in my life that suggested to me to use King School, and boy were they right! I was not good in school, and definitely not a good test taker, but I absolutely love how John & Martha teach. They do not teach down like so many instructors in the fire service do, but rather teach in a way that you can feel that they want you to win!
