I have used it every day and enjoyed it very much. But, just this week, middle of October 2025, adds fill my screen and hold me hostage. I get to read the chapter, but when I click “chapter read” I cannot move to the next chapter or anything until the countdown is done. There is no X out until the little counter in the corner runs to zero. I just have to sit and look at the page until they allow me to move on. It doesn’t matter how many chapters I read, one or ten, it holds me hostage at the end of each chapter. No notice this was going to happen or anything. It just happened. At the beginning I actually shut my tablet down because I couldn’t figure out what was going on. There were always ads at the bottom of the page and that was okay. I expected that because it was a free app. I will keep it until the end of the year because my entire year of Bible reading is marked with it. At the end of the year I will definitely delete it. They turned a 5* app into a below zero app. All I can say is… glad I didn’t pay money for it. ### 1/5 — Garbage audio *2020-06-06, version 5.0* First,The audio is read by a computer and pauses in the wrong places. Also, it’s pronunciation of some of the names and places is terrible. Second, there are ads, but they can be removed for a price. However, the developer does not indicate in-app purchases.
