I loved the first King of Math. It was simple, elegant, easy to use and a great challenge for kids.  You could see progress for each topic in one big list, which made picking your next target easy.
The new game has coloured graphics and somewhat of a story. However, the story makes the journey linear (addition first, then ...).  This means you can't progress until you beat a challenge.
One great addition is a tutorial. Some questions are not obvious at first, so, help help is a welcome addition.
King of Math 2 is a worthy sequel. The only major drawback is the linear nature of the progress.
In summary, highly recommended!

### 1/5 — Mistakes in a math app is disappointing

As someone else said, the estimation problems have mistakes. When estimating, I'm sure most know that if you see a 5 or higher, you round up. 4 or less and you round down. 

In the questions asked here it is inconsistent. Sometimes the correct answer would indicate you round up while others indicate you round down. For a student who is trying to get better at math, this is a bad bad problem. Please fix this. Otherwise I cannot give it a higher rating.

Die App würde volle Punktezahl bekommen, leider können wir von der Light App nicht auf die schon gekaufte Vollversion wechseln ohne wieder von vorne anzufangen.

Скучно, много глупых задач, которые не относятся к математике. Есть откровенно неинтересные задания. Не рекомендую. Лучше купите первую часть.

Die Spielidee ist gut und es macht Spaß das kleine Einmaleins wieder zu trainieren.

Jedoch sind im Level 122 derart viele Fehler vorhanden, das darf nicht passieren.
Beispiel: 16 ? 10 ? 6=76
Es gibt keine Rechenoperation (: - + *) die die ? ersetzt werden könnten.

Ich kann nicht viel zu dem Spiel sagen- Großartig. Ich kam einmal nicht weiter, weil ich das noch nicht kannte, bin nach zwei Jahren wieder rein und habe es geschafft, das Spiel hast auch eine hohe Lernkurve-Auf jeden Fall spielen!

이거 1도 진짜 재밌게 플레이했는데 2도 풀려서 기쁩니다. 1, 2 모두 안지우고 심심할 때마다 플레이하고 있어요. 
1과는 방식이 많이 바뀌었네요. 1이 사칙연산의 다양한 변형이었다면 2는 응용문제가 많습니다. 그리고 맵도 생겨서 스테이지 클리어할 때마다 옮겨가는 방식이구요. 1을 플레이하면서 감탄했던 점은, 복잡한 사칙연산을 단순히 암산으로 하는게 아니라, 문제의 매커니즘을 이해하면서 답을 도출해내는 방식으로 문제를 만들어냈다는 점이었습니다. (말로 설명하려니 어려운데, 플레이 하신 분들은 이해하실 겁니다) 
2는 아직 클리어 안했고 틈틈이 플레이 하는 중인데 재밌습니다. 강추!!

My son is 9 and he played this for over an hour last night. I really love that you can turn the timer off. My son won't play math games if there is a timer. It stresses him out! There was another review about the rounding being wrong. I thought the same thing but the examples show you how to solve the problems. After we figured out how we were supposed to solve it we got them all correct.

I like it, and I'm in my 30's. For adults, it's more like a refresher to see how fast you can get problems right. It's definitely holding my attention.
